And the crap thing is you can only have one at a time.

    Yep

Unless.... you have a nipper who is too small to ride anything like space mountain then you can get a rider switch pass which is like a fastpass so you get double bubble :)

Similar situation. some of the guides say that some places do salads, I think we may be packing fruit for her to eat during the day.

Just seen that veggie plan. Thanks

If you are venturing out to International Drive on your stay, you could go to 'Sweet Tomatoes' - a great salad buffet restaurant. We are vegetarian, and it is our favourite place to eat - a huge salad bar, soups, pasta, jacket potatoes, muffins, pizza, and also dessert, fruit, frozen yoghurt etc etc. It is cheap to eat there, and you can sometimes pick up discount coupons in the Orlando Sentinel newspaper. If you join their 'club veg' online, they usually give you a voucher to print off.

ring them and quote the prices you've seen? they should honour that.

I've tried 5 times with different people. The last time, I asked to speak to a manager and they weren't interested.

    Thanks anyway.
  • I've just booked to go to to Orlando on the 30th Sep for 14 days. I got the flights for £350 return from BA from Edinburgh via gatwick which I thought was pretty reasonable.

I'm looking for a cheap but nice hotel on I drive. I stayed in the Quality Inn International last time I went and enjoyed that but a friend went recently and didnt like it at all.

Can anyone recommend any decent hotels?

    thanks

And they only work if that person has actually visited the pak that day , one of my sons stayed behind in the villa one day , i tried to use his ticket for a fastpast wouldnt work .

At Christmas the queues for the fast passes were so long some of them had cm's stood by them just asking how many you wanted and dispensing the tickets without you having to produce yours , which obviously meant you could go to another maching for a fastpass with out waiting til you had used the other one

    Hi

I booked in April last year and am now going through the process of trying to get the cheapest tickets. After scouting around, I could not believe my look when I went to service my booking and saw that the virgin system was quoting me

    £208.00 21 day ultimate (adult)
    £178.00 21 day ulrimate (child)
    £130.00 flexticket (adult)
    £110.00 flexticket (child)

They were also doing flexticket plsu tickets at well under what I could see. Obviously the advertised prices for a new ticket purchase are significantly higher than these.

Anyway I ordered the flexticket plus and 21 day ultimates. It would not however let me add the normal flextickets at 130 as the web site errored. I have been on the phone complaining and it did me no good.

My plus flexes were prices at 146.

Any ideas how I might get virgin to honour the 130.00?

This happened to us a couple of weeks ago, the 14 day ultimate was priced at £183 for adult and £163 for child and the flexi tickets were as you stated, i tried to book them as they were excellent prices but it kept coming up with an error message so we phoned and the girl we spoke to said they were incorrect we told her their website was stating these prices so whilst on the phone she asked us to e-mail the page over so we did, she came back a few minutes later and said it was an error and they couldn't do the tickets at those prices but did give us £90.00 off the total of the tickets we wanted so it wasn't too bad. I would save the page on the website and phone again and tell them you have the page with the prices on and you can e-mail it over and see what they can do.

Just wanted to say a thank you to the contributors of this thread. Although this is my first post, I have been reading (a lot of) this thread in order to glean information to book my holiday....which I finally did last night..whoo hoo:D

While I'm here though, I've heard in the last couple of days about a new ticket, called The One. It's supposed to give access to all the parks that the Ultimate and Flexiticket Plus combined give, but it costs something like £450, which I think is a lot more than the 2 together:confused: Has anyone else heard of this?

Yes, we went into first choice to price up tickets and they offered us this ticket at £420.00 can't remember how much the kids one was but anyway my husband was interested cos he thought it would be better to have one ticket for everywhere but it's just a 14 day ultimate and a flexi plus ticket which as you stated if you buy separately anyway works out cheaper. I don't know how they expect to sell these obviously haven't done their homework.
  • Can anyone give me a few tips about Clearwater Beach.

We are going in a large group to Kissimmee, and Mrs Blink and I are going to have a romantic night in a hotel in Clearwater. At the moment we don't know what night we are going - do people think we will have any problem getting a room in one of the good hotels within a week of the date we will want it (Around beginning of April). Personally I would like to book it now but it just isn't going to be possible.
And can anyone recommend a (not to expensive) hotel?

    Cheers

how can you worry about the expense, its a romantic night for the pair of you. You are very much in line for a pot full of trouble if the partner sees that comment.
Book a good hotel thats doing a half price offer but tell her you paid in full.

Craig should be able to help you out.
