    Hi guys

Would be really greatful if anyone could give me some quick advice (booking this afternoon) on the cheapest way to incorporate the following theme park tickets in to a 14 day holiday:
    • Universal's Islands of Adventure
    • Univeral Studios
    • Busch Gardens
    • Magic Kingdom
    • Typhoon Lagoon
    • Hollywood Studios
Have been told to buy a Disney 14 Day Ultimate Ticket (£215) and Orlando Flexticket Plus (£165) - £380 total.

Please could you let me know if these two tickets are necessary (i.e. the cheapest way of doing it) and if they are good prices?

    Thanks!!

I ordered some 2 day and 2 waterpark tickets direct from Disney and it comes to $199 per person which is about £150. We are going to do MK, Hollywood Studios and both water parks. If money is an issue, that will save you £65, but you would only be able to do 2 parks and 2 water parks. You can do a lot more with the 14 day ticket, if you have the time and the energy.

    To go back to TCD.
I went with them three times. First time flight only £67. Very late booking. Never worried me for car or accomadation. Second time £99 flight only.3rd time June 2006 £386 flight and car [which ended up to be a Dodge caravan] full insurance for the pair of us.
Remember that it was XL that went bust, TCD was cheap and cheerful. In 2006 the aircraft was old and creaky but the crowd on the airaft were great as was the service and the free drinks came along far quicker than VA or BA.
I for one was very sorry that TCD 'died'

  • Hello...I got the information wrong earlier, so need your help again..

basically we want to go to disney - 5 days in the floridian, and 9 days in port orleans. We want a 14 day ultimate ticket and the disney dining plan. I am going with my parents and 2 year old sister. It is my mums 40th birthday whilst we are out there.

Disney said that the dining plan has to be bought with a park ticket, and is limited to the amount of time you spend at the hotel. So if we go to port orleans first, we can have 9 days of the dining plan, a 14 day ultimate ticket, but no dining plan at the floridian, as we have not purchased a park ticket linked to this hotel.....

So the only way around the problem is to buy 2 x 7 day park tickets, which actually cost nearly double a 14 day ticket, thus putting more than £660 onto our trip........

SO IN A NUTSHELL...DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW WE CAN STILL HAVE A DINING PLAN BUT SPLIT OUR HOTELS?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Have you looked at what you get with the Dining Plan as by all accounts it can be a lot of food and does mean that for 9 days you are eating three times a day, every day in Disney, for the remaining 5 days you may well be quite happy to eat elsewhere! You can still eat in the Grand Floridian while you have the Dining Plan but not when you are staying there if you see what I mean. Have you been given the separate costs of the Dining Plan to work out how much per day you will be spending on food per person?

    Hi Just Wonderful

To be honest I do not know but what I would suggest is that you drop Annette Owens of Mouse Fan travel and email. Her email is annette@mei-travel.com and tell her Craig recommend her to you.

It does depend what Dining plan you have. Remember there are a few types. Also you do not have to use all your credits every day, so say for places like the Yachtsman you need two credits so you can save them. You will have to use them all up by your last day of the plan though

I have asked some experts so will let you know what htey say.
