Hi, Off to Orlando for 16 nights in November. Looking to stay in a townhouse, don't need a villa with pool. Anyone got any hints on which resorts are nicest and good value? Must be close to Disney. Considering Emerald Island and Oakwater particularly.
Any ideas gratefully received!!:question:0 -

Emerald Island Resort have townhouses. The resort itself is brilliantly located. Very close to Disney. We've stayed there before and are staying there again next year when we go. We loved it. It's newly built in the last few years. xxx0 -
No actually it was Mondays just for a week, from Manchester
I second Dial a Flight without a doubt. I found them to be the cheapest. I booked flights with them a few weeks ago to Orlando for next April. If you go to their website their number is on there. If you put that into www.saynoto0870.com then you will find a cheaper landline number that you can call. Money saving at every opportunity! xxx0 -

Hi
Try looking at Vista Cay - Hotelopia or Alpharooms sometimes have good rates particularly if you can get a discount code from somewhere (there is usually a 10% one around if you google). It is near the conference centre so might be slightly too far from Disney for you (but the transport links are good so shouldnt actually take that long).0 -

We're going back next August and have booked a Disney hotel as it was only £200 more expensive over the three weeks and we figure it's a lot less travelling time to and from the Disney parks. Also as we'll have a toddler this time we won't be tied to having to come and go when hotel transport is on, we can just go to a park for a morning or evening if we want and if we're in the parks and the little one is tired, one of us can take him back to the hotle and the other can stay with our older two.
we are going to florida in 6 weeks time, and have been upgraded to hotel at disneys pop century resort for £181 for the 4 of us, so buisness must be down this year, cant think why:rolleyes: , i thought we got a good deal, but by looking at sammcg`s post they seem to have booked a holiday to florida for 2 weeks for the huge cost of £3, now that is a dealTake every day as it comes!!0 -

If you can change your dates at all try traveling out on a Thursday that way you miss weekend suppliments on your flights and when you return you land on a Friday giving you the weekend to adjust to UK time before returning to work/school etc.0
