I'm looking to go to Florida April 2009, 2 adults 2 children. I'd prefer a holel 3* plus with a pool. I'm not bothered about a rental car, A disney Resort hotel would be nice for DDs but not essential. Any suggestions re cheapest deals please. Thanks.

Has anyone used Total Florida, are they good?
Has anyone stopped over in Charlotte, not that we are able to do much, but do they have good coffee bars etc?
    Any help appreciated.

With a 21/2 hour stopover you certainly will not have time to do much at all perhaps you may have time to get a cuppa in between going from one aircraft to the next.
You will have to go through immigration first, although this should not be too bad in Charlotte, get your luggage, go through customs or if your lucky they make take your baggage off you straight away.
Must admit I like stop overs. Confirm with your travel agent that baggage weight is the same for both legs of your flight. certainly for coming back.

I'm tryin to find some flights for beginning of January. Have tried loads of places but the cheapest so far is £445 each (4adults & 3 children ages 11,6 &3).
any help would be greatly appreciated:D
DO you think it would be best to wait a few months and see if the flights go down in price? Is it worth the risk with all this oil stuff goin on?

Got an excellent deal lined up for disney & tickets just need the flights to get it sorted.
    thanks

BA are showing £331 outbound and over £2000:eek: inbound for the dates I want in Oct. I am having such a job finding flights atm.

are you choosing to fly direct and on weekends?

I looked for myself, my girlfriend and my daughter who will be 6 months in october.

The cheapest i got saturday to saturday was with thomsonfly.com who fly to sanford direct and that was about £900 for the 3 of us.

BUT I have now booked to fly wednesday to wednesday and got flights for £320 for the 2 adults and my daughter is £37 on the lap. This is with Delta, though similar prices were with US Airways and AA. Try opodo.co.uk or expedia.co.uk as these both had similar price flights. I think cheapflights.co.uk were also around about the same prices too.

There are cheap flights out there but try to avoid the weekends especially towards the end of october as you are approaching half term. I've booked 22nd Oct to 5th Nov as we wanted to go out over halloween this year.
