Is it best to email SAR as I thought it's better by post?

The NEWBIES thread does seem to suggest email is good...
You can find out where to send the SAR (usually by email) by looking on the Parking firm's PRIVACY webpage...

Out of interest, what makes you think post is better?

Other than the appeal, all correspondence has been by post anything I've sent has proof of postage. But if it's better to send via email that's fine

Napier have an SAR form downloadable and an email to send it to, tbh I'm not keen on filling out their form it's asking for documents such as Id or utility bill, which I'm not happy to supply.

Do what you think best then.

Of course it goes without saying, you are perfectly free to sent it in a way that you feel comfortable with.

You MUST supply proof that you are the rightful data subject!

OK thanks coupon mad, guess I'll have to send them something, I assume I don't have to use their form though?

They aren't asking for anything differently to other companies making sure you are who you say you are when requesting SARs!

If you don't comply then they won't play ball.

Don’t go sending anything daft like your passport, driving licence or birth certificate. Think identity theft!

A photocopy of the V5C for the relevant vehicle showing your name as the RK should suffice.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
