Faulty Dyson - Argos

After 6 months its the customers responsibilty to prove it was faulty inherently, the relevant act states this. So your not told to get lost.
If a business decides to swap/replace a faulty item with a new 1 then its up to them.
Be very careful now…DCFC79 sounds like it could be a Dyson Model No. and you'll be accused of working for them!0 -
I though this thread died a natural death, have you nothing better to do but to keep dragging it back again, maybe you have some hoovering to be getting on withNever mind allow it. This thread is getting way out of hand and off topic :rotfl:
Ok summary of my understanding is so far of the rights:
before 6 months = there's a chance for customer service
after 6 months = shop tells you to get lost.
Correct me if im wrong.

this thread sucks which is apparently more than the OPs vacuum does0

I've got a Gtech and the motor exploded after 9 months.
I could have gone to the retailer and complained and wasted ages or , as I did, rang Gtech direct and a whole new motor unit arrived next day.
I was without a working vacuum for 14 hours....
My parents did exactly the same, straight to G tech for a seized motor, theirs arrived after a couple of days0 -

Is it sorted yet, and what relation is Marie to you0 -
I bet this is the cordless Dyson that keeps cutting out?
In that case, the filter is clogged and needs cleaning. I am sure on Jimmy's site, there are instructions on how to do this and you will be able to make a clean sweep for the weekend!0
