Can anyone help me please? I want to buy one/ maybe 2 Blackberry 9300 phones. I want to use giffgaff with a £10 goodybag and add on £3 pm bbm. So, I'm looking for an unlocked phone without paying over the odds. I could buy one from Carphone Warehouse, and unlock at a cost of ?£20...would this work? Before I get mobbed, I have done some research, but am not sure what to look for.

Hi All
I was wondering if anyone knows of the cheapest or most reasonable Android smart phone ?
I do not need a contract phone as i am already with O2 simplicity monthly contract (cancel anytime) and dont want to be tied up by another one. I am looking for a sim free smart phone. At present i am using a 7 years old Nokia 6822 and since i cant afford a more expensive one i might go for a cheaper android phones.
pls advise.
thank you all.0 -
"Reasonable" depends on your budget.
The cheapest is probably Samsung Galaxy Apollo (refurb) for £29.9+£10 at Mobiles.co.uk.
Samsung Galaxy Europe (refurb) is £39+£10 from e2save.
Galaxy Mini is 24x£7.50 with reasonable allowances and £60 quidco cashback at Tesco Mobile.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro White is 24x£10
HTC Explorer is £100 at Play.com
SE Xperia X8 is £99 at Prepaymania.
Orange San Francisco is about £90 and is easy to unlock.
OSF2 and T-Mobile Vivacity are about £100, but more difficult to unlock.
Acer Liquid Metal was about £135 recently at Exansis, but discontinued there.
IMHO, OSF2 / Vivacity and Acer LM are the best value for money.
