Hello guys,
Had an old nokia for the last 6 years. Its battered and finally died saturday night, whats the cheapest 02 phone about?
Thanks
James0 -
The cheapest phones are 1p+£10: http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/payg-mobile-phones?all=1&sortOrder=orderByMakeModelName&price=0-9.99
£7.57 cashback through TCB.
The phone will be almost definitely unlocked and can be used with any sim. You can sell unwanted sim with credit on e-bay.
Similar deals are available at mobiles.co.uk, e2save and CPW.0 -
I am one of the few people in this world who do not own a mobile phone but feel I now need to join the club. I only require the phone as an emergency measure and not to use regularly so thought a pay as you go phone would be best for me. Can anyone please advise me on which one to get please or give me any more advice. Thanks.0

For a phone see the post above yours. £1+£10 phone is available from mobiles.co.uk. £4.90+£10 - from e2save. Don't forget about cashback.
For a simcard see:

Many thanks for your help. Will have a look.0

Giffgaff is definitely the best PAYG sim for occasional use - details at http://giffgaff.com/ - and has a number of benefits such as using the O2 network, free 0800 etc calls, 8ppm calls, 4p texts and credit which doesn't expire! I changed over to giffgaff some months ago and wish I'd discovered them years ago!0

I've just sent off for a pay as go sim card for Vectone (they've been advertising on the London underground)
Deal is:
5p/ min landlines
5p/ min any mobile network
2.5p texts to any network
Free mobile internet
Free calls to other Vectone users
10p/min voicemail
Sounds too good to be true really - anyone know if there's a catch? Anyone already using them?

However, a bit of googling has revealed some poor reviews of the company - eg http://www.freeindex.co.uk/profile(vectone-mobile)_245597.htm
Wonder if anyone here has any first hand experience of them?
