Nokia 1800 (unlocked) costs just 1p plus £10 topup minus £6 cashback.
You can sell the sim with £10 credit for £7-8 if you don't need it.
So you can get the handset plus £3 profit.

  • I am currently on a £40 per month mobile contract with T-mobile which ran out 2 years ago. I popped into the Tmobile shop today and asked about my options. I cannot believe that I have been offered a 12 month contract 600 mins, 500 texts , unlimited internet for £5 per month.
Why I asked? Because you have been a loyal customer and we have made a lot of money out of you.
I am prepared to go for it but feel that there must be a catch.
  • How many minutes do you use? If 600 isn't enough they are probably calculating that you will overspend and your bills will come in much higher.

If 600 is enough, bite their hand off.

Dont forget Tmobile is not truly unlimted internet only GiffGaff and Three offer truly unlimted

Threes one plan is 25 month contract
GiffGaff 10 per month paygo plus 250 mins

As long as there not like virgin media and you find out its 3 times the price when they send you bill I would take it, do you go over on your internet or minutes.

Ive got a blackberry 8900 on a sim only contract. Recently the phone stopped working so I sent it back to Vodafone who advised that its suffering from water damage and the cost for the repair would be £100. I refused to pay as its been no where near water etc and eventually Vodafone just sent the phone back without it being repaired. Ive stuck it in a tube of rice but im not confident this will solve it and so im on the look out for a new phone. Ideally would like to get my hands on and Iphone 4 but not at all happy paying £400-500 for one. Does anyone know of any trustworthy website that sell reconditioned iphones? Or can anyone recommend a decent smart phone I could purchase which is not going to cost me an arm and a leg?

    Thanks

GiffGaff won't be unlimited Internet soon. Because of mass complaints about slow data speeds, they are in the process of rolling back their system to pre unlimited. If you are a victim of months of poor speeds, you can contact an agent for a refund.
