Morning all
I found £5 sitting nicely at the bottom of my stairs yesterday and a whole £1 coin on the bedroom floor this morning. DH really needs to be more careful as there is always someone right behind ready to sweep up
Added to my tin now. Finders keepersEmptying my lake with a teaspoon0 -
potted a few coins last night which has taken me over the £87. I would have potted more but I realised I hadn't set aside the money for a couple of planned expenses. Have been looking on Amazon at coin purses so I can divide up my money more easily and transport it more easily. I have one already that I use on for going to the pub each week, it has 3 sections so I put in money into each- 2 drinks (OH also buys 2 plus any additional he wants) and 1 taxi home (I pay one way, he pays the other).Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

Morning pottersssssssssssssssss
DH had his weekly pub visit last night and has changed up his loose change with meJakes-mum did better out of the deal this week (much to his disgust :rotfl: ) £5.95 in change swapped up for a £5 note
into the pot it has gone
Ahh Sue don't get too mad, it was £100 out of the back pay I got from PIP, I figured that if they had not taken the money off me in the first place I would have potted at least that much if not more so my pot got back paid as welland it seemed rude not to ask the bank lady for it all in £2 coins :rotfl:
DH is very excited to see what is in the pot this year, he said if I can pot nearly £2k when we were so tight last year, I should have a bumper year this year :rotfl: never said I was sharing love! :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Emptied my purse as usual this evening so have potted £6.20 which is quite a good amount. I am being super careful but I think I am realising its okay to be like that if that makes sense. It isn't too crippling and maybe I am realising I spend too much on 'stuff', even though I think I don't.0

So sorry to hear of your sad news mrs-moneypenny. Sending warm thoughts your way and hugs!
Congratulations on the new job Hettyhound, you must be absolutely thrilled
Found another bus roadkill on Saturday, a pound once again! That's the second one so far. I'm not sure if there is a fairy that goes around leaving pounds on bus seats or if the buses are growing them
Also potted £5 which was given to me from a member of my local Pok!mon Go community (guilty pleasure) on Saturday, for some badges. I always made Pok!mon badges and gave them away for free (not very moneysaving!!!) so will be taking a hiatus from that in order to make an Etsy shop over the next few months.
