Found a shiny clean and dry 20p in tumble drier. A nice reward for tackling the washing first thing the morning!
Also added more change to my SP (incl. some zloty and Euro change I converted).IO BTL1 Mortgage was £97,693.54 on 09/08/18; £83,140 on 31/12/19.Sealed Pot Challenge 12: #078: £150.36

Hi SPCers!
I hope you've all had a lovely Saturday and are still taking care of after yourselves, as well as your.... pots!
For those who are not well or who are low in spirits, take great care of yourselves. Get well soon and {{{{hugs}}}} from all the SPC family. :grinheartWent out last night to a pub quiz at my local social club - we go every week. They have a free drink raffle and I won so a friend gave me £3 for the ticket so have potted that this morning.
Have a great day everyone.
Really good ways to come up with cash saved in preference to it being spent, Iheart!!! :DI think I'm right in saying, this is the first time you've said about your DS being in a wheelchair, so sorry to hear that. Is it rude to ask why?
Well done with the £2s, MrsShazbat, hard to expect much more though at a time when you're trying.
Nice work Babs! :DHow's your dear lad and the car? Both ok fingers crossed!
Hiya jakes-mum! It's good to see more of you now you've got your PIP sorted out. It couldn't be too long before your DH got crafty with you, after all, you've been that way with him for yonks!! Pay back time!!
Well done with the potted cash and I really hope you're feeling a little better now.
Oh dear, isn't it amazing just how chocolate is so very addictive. :EasterBunThey say all cravings disappear very quickly after you've given them up. I take it you'll soon be having another try??? :rotfl:I added £10 to my pot this morning. Instead of using my see through jar I’m now using a terramundi pot that I was given so hopefully I’ll be less tempted to empty it as I won’t be able to see the money building up.
I love my Terramundi, Loz, mind you I love the others too! :happyhear At least you can keep seriously saving now with no temptations! Excellent saving by the way!!!
You were fortunate with the 15% off JE, datlex. Great work potting too!!!
Very well done, Saving Glut!!Havey a super Sunday, folks! Don't forget to feed your pots ....well!!
Sue

 ! Noooooo! Sue!! I am fully accepting that my body wants chocolate on a semi regular basis :rotfl: I will continue to try and cut down how much stuff we all eat that includes it but I don't think we'll be trying cold turkey at any point soon!
The scariest part was realising how much chocolate cereal I buy for DH and DD (as well as how many of the cereals on the shelf contain it!). DD was like 'mum! I don't have any cereal!' and i'm like 'I literally just bought 3 boxes on friday girl! what have you done with it?', she replies 'I can't have it, its all got chocolate on it'. She spent 17 days eating rice Krispies, and turns out she really likes them! DH swung between rice Krispies and Shreddies. I have never been a lover of cereal with chocolate in it so I was fine with my granola but it was crazy what I bought that I didn't even register had chocolate in it.
We did get to be more adventurous with our shopping though! out went the aero and milky bar yogurts, in came those 2 flavour fromage frais type yogurts. No more pain au chocolat's, more angel delight mousse pots (not chocolate flavoured :rotfl: ) and fruit. Hoping we can keep up the changes
I have potted nothing today, nowt, nada, zip, zero . . . as I have been nowhere! (and I still didn't make my cake either!). I shall have to rummage in my purse and find something to chuck in the pot!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Potted £3.50 last night. I had £4.50 in my purse but gave £1 as pocket money to my boy. He only gets pocket money when he's well behaved and/or done good things, so lets just say not terribly often! I gave him £1 as he has been pretty good recently and I had to bring him home early from a party yesterday as he wasn't well (pale, shivery and temperature). He was pretty upset at the time and cried (he is only 5) but as soon as he got home on the sofa under a blanket he fell asleep. He mourned the lack of a party bag so the £1 may make amends in some small way......
He's bright as a button this morning, ah the joys of non branded ibuprofenSPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)0 -
Been MIA as I have been really busy this month. Managed to get quite a few banks shifts (I do reception cover) as well as working full time and then was drafted to help out stage managing a production with my local theatre group. The good news is that next month I should be able to add a bit extra to my pot.
I have added £95 to my pot- I saved £40 from my food shopping and on Friday I got a £35 check as my train trip was delayed due to a cancellation. Then today I got £20 cashback in my bank account.Growing old is mandatory:

I got paid today so added £10 to my pot.
I have also managed to move my £500 credit card balance over to a 0% interest card so will save £100 from that over the next 4 months as I’m hoping to get it paid off completely by June.CC Debt:£450 Emergency Fund: £1,500 Sealed Pot Challenge 2020 #042: £750 -
