£3.50 potted yesterday. Itching to see inside the tin! Next time, i'm buying a transparent tin...Sealed Pot Challenge 075
Pay off by Xmas 2019 #02 - target £10,0000 -
I had to empty my pot the other week as I’d gone into my overdraft
The good news is that I have booked flights to visit my friends in Spain this summer, luckily I can stay with them which will make it a very cheap holiday!
I’m going to start using cash for my food shopping again and build it back up though.
I switched one of my current accounts to a different bank so I can use part of the £50 free cash to replace some of the money I emptied from my pot at least. I might also be getting a bonus in my March pay so I can add some of that back into my pot as well.CC Debt:£450 Emergency Fund: £1,500 Sealed Pot Challenge 2020 #042: £750 -

Another £2 coin potted - change from the car park at our local country park. Got my son's wheelchair stuck in the mud and am going to have to clean my car out though but I love a £2 coin so it was worth it!0

Went out last night to a pub quiz at my local social club - we go every week. They have a free drink raffle and I won so a friend gave me £3 for the ticket so have potted that this morning.
Have a great day everyone.0 -

Morning pottersssssssssssss
DH had his weekly pub visit last night, crafty so and so has finally worked out if he is just under a £10'er in change he makes money out of our swap! hmmpf! So He gave me £9.27 and I gave him a £10 notedid include 2 x £2 coins though
so £5.25 in the tins last night and the 4 x £1 coins and the random 2p in my purse as otherwise I would have been brassic
Have been playing around with my lovely embroidery software this week, spent too long down the office testing and now my hips and back are screeeeeeeeaming at me so today will be a sit in the recliner day to calm them down again. I firmly blame DH for this as I was all set to come back up after a couple of hours when he popped his head in the door and said 'don't forget Georgie needs a cover for his cage!' (he got bored and has destroyed George's bedroom under the stairs to make a computer area which means poor George has no longer got his nice dark, quiet room to sleep at night). So another hour+ was spent crawling round the floor cutting large pieces of fabric and sewing them together to make a cover whilst swearing at Sally Sewing Machine as she decided to have a bobbin fit halfway through and took 20 minutes to trouble shoot what had happened to her!
Anyway, I think I might make a cake today, I feel a bit bakey!
Oh and as an FYI, anyone else who gets this great idea that I had to have a chocolate free february! don't do it!! we managed 17 days before we all cracked, who knew that 1) we were so addicted to chocolate (cravings sooo bad!) and 2) how many things contain chocolate! it was an eye opener thats for sure, and we have said we are going to be more aware of what we buy, but never again will we make such a soul destroying pact :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
I added £10 to my pot this morning. Instead of using my see through jar I’m now using a terramundi pot that I was given so hopefully I’ll be less tempted to empty it as I won’t be able to see the money building up.CC Debt:£450 Emergency Fund: £1,500 Sealed Pot Challenge 2020 #042: £750

I ended up with £20 extra cash last night. I was going to use it to pay for the weekly take away. But I got an email from Just Eat with a 15% discount code after I had taken out the cash. The discount code only works with card payments. I used to order food directly via the takeaway as they had an app with a 10% discount on it. Recently they have removed this so I have changed to ordering via Just Eat (reached via Top Cashback).Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
