Potting £1.03. Shopping came in at £18.97 this week out of allowance of 25. I’m going to keep the £5 in a holding pot as I’ve got extra shopping next week for son’s half term pack up lunches at holiday club and also not sure the dog food will last until payday and a small bag is £4.

Just popping by to say hi. Been so busy here - bacl to work full time following maternity leave has been a huge adjustment the kast 4 months, started my NVQ level 5 last month and wrote my car off in the snow this month. So yes no money to the pot this month at least... but me and the boys are fine and I am never driving in the snow again.SPC#19 - 7-£666.54, 8-£489, 9-£264 10-£376 11- £305.8p 12 £329 13 - £315 14/£214 15 £177 16 £253 SPC 17 £0 of £250

Few more coins potted, currently over £82 in it.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

Sue_UU, I detest ironing more than my mum :rotfl: but she is unable to do it herself and my dad is bad on purpose I think
Her normal ironing lady is no longer around to do it, so she asked me to step in while she finds someone good. One lady she had would only iron one side of the clothing
Ah, I see now why you do the ironing, Robin, but if you have the time, even if you hate it, and your Mum is happy to pay then why not. A one sided ironer eh! Oh well it takes all sorts. 47p is still good and mounts up!
Hi all Potters!I hope you're all well and enjoying this spell of sun! Another good day tomorrow, so if you're able to, then enjoy it.
For those who are not well or who are low in spirits, take great care of yourselves. Get well soon and {{{{hugs}}}} from all the SPC family. :grinheart
Good for you, datlex! Re your latest post, very nice work with your Total so far!!Well as it seems i'm not going to get my note added to the first post . . £100 in £2 coins potted last friday :rotfl: I also have one in my purse to go in as well as some silver.
You're a jammy old devil, jakes-mum!!!! 😈 If you're found to be stalking our SPCers anywhere there will be trouble I assure you! 😡 How can anyone save so many £2 coins in such a short space to time!
Very well done with all your sales! You certainly have a way for bringing in the cash, Lily too! She's her Mum's gal for sure which spells trouble!
Very lovely words to mrs-moneypenny, Choccygirl, that's the sort of thing that helps so much.
Very many thanks, Saving Glut, as soon as I get over a bout I can soon start to feel better iand cope with the single ones. Mind you then I see jakes-mum and all her £2 coins ...!! 😡
I'm glad that 1p is now among friends.
All the very best with ERNIE!!!
Nice work with your budget, Hettyhound! :j I'm so pleased some Potters do take note of the Holding Pot idea.
Hiya Hicksy, sorry to hear about the car, the only trouble with snow I'm afraid. You take care of yourself and your little treasures til next time.

Hoping to be able to get over the £90 mark this week. I have nearly £87 in the pot now and £40 (soon to be £10) in my bank. Not too much to buy. The £10 is for bulky waste collection of 4 items which are too big to put in the bin. They have been sat around for too long taking up space.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
