Pot currently has £74.05 in it. Didn't have a lot to pot this week. Probably not much next week either with it being valentines this week.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

Hi, everyone, just checking in to let you know that I am still potting along and managing to pot something every week. Its rather variable, but this week it was £4.20 - 30p saved from the shopping and the rest from the money we saved by booking tickets on line for one of the local museums (mum and OH's birthday this week.)
Oh and 2 pennies I found while clearing up - not sure why they were where they were but no prizes for guessing where they are now!Sealed Pot Challenge no 035.

Can't remember the last time I ported anything. Have didn't two weeks in hospital so hubby has been in charge of shopping cash. We're going away fir couple of days over half term so every penny in wallet going for treats.
I did cash out £14.99 from prolific surveys which has cleared as £14.75 into my account. I've moved it to my sealed pot bank account (used for all bank type cash outs) which takes my balance to £103.09. I still have my traditional sealed pot which is sat collecting dust!
Hoping once next pay day hits I'll be able to pot leftovers from the weekly budget. Hope you're all ok and I'll catch up on the posts over next day or so xFinally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -

What a week! I warmed up two bowls of homemade lentil soup for me DH last Wednesday and as I was carrying them through the workshop to our office, I slipped on a tiny patch of oil. It all happened very quickly but needless to say, I ended up lying on the floor covered in hot lentils! I was duly scraped off the floor and fair play to the boys in the workshop, they didn't laugh, just cleaned up the mess. I hurt my knee in the fall and cut and bruised my left hand when the dishes smashed, but I think my pride was mostly in tatters. I cleaned myself up and as our lunch had disappeared in the bin, DH suggested we pop out for lunch. We went to a local bakery and picked up a couple of sandwiches and as I was heading back to the car, I ran my hands through my hair and discovered lentils in my hair! When I looked in the mirror, I could see soup splashed over my forehead and down my left cheek . Cheers DH for noticing!!!! Anyway, as I smelled quite soupy, I decided that I should toddle off home early and recover. :rotfl: That evening, my brother was due to arrive and stay with me for my mother's funeral on Thursday, but due to flight and traffic issues, he didn't get to my house until 2 am . I'm sure my mother will forgive me for attending her funeral covered in plasters and looking like the walking dead! In fact, I think she would have found the whole thing rather hilarious
. Needless to say, I'm hoping this week will be slightly less traumatic.............
Not spent a lot of cash lately, but I do have £3.00 to pot today. Hope you all have a lovely week, fellow potters.SPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830
