Bit of a shock yesterday, I found a £10 note roadkill. Stared at it in shock and then picked it up quick before the wind took it, there was nobody about so couldn't check if it belonged to anyone.

Not going to keep it all tho I will put half in the BHF tin.

Hi all, January seems to be a long and expensive month ! I've not managed to put much in the pot as had the expense of paying my tax and daughter's uni house deposit ! But I've managed to put £1.00 in silver in today and next week should be more frugal …. Dx

    Hello potters,
Hope everyone is well and the potting has been successful.
Semi productive week of potting... a few 30p across the week and a £1 yesterday due to no crisp spend as 4 of us were taken out for lunch as a thank you from work.
Happy to be putting a few bits in each week.
    Happy potting all :o)

    Evening all! :hello:

Not posted in a while - have been back to work following maternity leave and I’d forgotten just how little time it leaves for anything else!!

The pot is looking pretty healthy (estimating £200-£300 based on what I think has gone in - won’t know till opening day though!). Also have nearly £250 purely from surveys and cashback :T Am keeping this in a separate savings account which is going to become my emergency fund once I have enough in it :).

Today have cashed out another £10 from one survey site and added a modest £1.95 change to the jar that was left at the end of the week from shopping budget.

Keep up the good potting everyone!! :j
Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship.
    Debt at highest = £62,842.59 (Dec 2018) - now £44,611.39 (Oct 2021)
    Emergency fund £268.63 / £1000
