I was told that the amount had to be paid over 12 months, and that was the best offer they could do, I’ve been completely scammed. How did they arrange the 32 months with you?

Re how I know calls aren't recorded, 2 things - firstly, I BELIEVE I'm right in saying it's illegal to record you over the phone without your knowledge and therefore implicit consent. But moreover, I asked them outright.

YES, they must tell you but hey, we are talking DRP rubbish language here ..... just another BPA scammer

DRP would be stupid to go further but that does not stop the PPc having another pop at it. Mind you by then, it would expose DRP and their scam

And ANY exposure of this scam cant do any of us any harm, in fact I've just advised loweandbehold to go for it (entirely their choice of course) be interesting to see how it all works out.

the fee (max chargeable) is £100 , DRP have added extra charges on , I suspect that this action would not be acceptable under UK law where credit was being offered

cant seem to find DRP at the credit services agency http://www.csa-uk.com/consumer/our-members/

Trev, the CSA don't include scammers on their website

even booted my EX owner out , I twigged that he had been banned by BPA and was using them as a way of DVLA access

I enjoyed explaining it to them and the DVLA

I can see you are new here. :D

Not wishing to upset you, but this whole private parking industry is rotten to the core.

I too believe you are right when you say 'it is illegal to record without your knowledge', but I think you are mistaken to think that wouldn't record calls without your knowledge.

As for 'I asked them outright'... I nearly fell of my chair when I read that.

Of course, I don't suppose you have a recording of them saying that, do you? :rotfl:

I’m certainly of the mind to cancel the direct debit agreement and test this, the payment they’ve already taken is exorbitant. The discrepancies in payment terms between myself and loweandbehold already they were breaking the law in the suggestions they made over the phone.
  • As far as the 'payment plan' is concerned, does anyone know of the intrinsic differences between a D/D and a payment that goes through as 'Debit Card Transaction'? To my mind, the latter would PERHAPS hold less sway legally...
  • I would get your bant to call back payments as well under direct debit guarantee the goods/services they are selling are faulty / fake

if challenged by bank as them to get there licence number to offer this service

direct debit has a guarantee if it goes wrong , debit card is just a payment , harder to get back
