Hope you feel better soon OxfordGirl.

WI this morning was better than I anticipated - I lost a pound! No idea how with 3 meals out this week! Hopefully I can do it again this week with just one meal out but that is going to be a tapas meal so probably fairly high syn especially as the landlord of the pub makes up a very strong sangria for everyone to drink with the meal! Am really looking forward to it tomorrow night but will have to do lots of damage limitation next week!!!

    Today's plan:

    B - fruit after WI
L - squash & chickpea curry with brown rice
D - Linda McCartney Rosemary & Red onion sausages, chips & peas. DH will be having fish fingers as he doesn't like the sausages (but I don't like fish fingers either so it's a chance to use some of them up, LOL!)

    HEA - milk
HEB - no idea but maybe some Ryvita & cottage cheese later
Syns - none planned but may have some alcohol tonight

Just noticed this likes a Green day so might even have some cheese on toast rather than Ryvita & cottage cheese.

    Hi all,
    Hope everyone is keeping warm.
Just -0.5 lbs this week, better than nothing I suppose. The christmas events are ramping up now and i have yet to have a mince pie. I fear I may cave in this evening.
    take care all,

    Vicky

Hi. I lost 3.5 today I was shocked as I had had lots of syns and didn’t expect to lose. The week before I was good and maintained !

Well done bozwood and denise and v1cky.:T I'm a great believer that good and bad shows up eventually but not always immediately.

Strange day today. I was out at lunchtime and thought a few times about grabbing something in the city centre but didn't really know what I fancied. So I just had a coffee (Americano with hot milk added myself). Then when I got home I wrapped a spring onion in a slice of ham and munched on that. Then I had a tomato and a couple of cornichons. I'll be ready for my dinner later.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, half HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: as above!
D: chicken casserole (onion, leek, carrot, mushroom, butter beans) with cauli, broccoli, new potatoes
    Syns: 1 for cornflour

I'd never survive on a spring onion, a piece of ham, a tomato & a couple of cornichons!

The casserole sounds lovely. Planning on a mini pottee next week (at least I think it's in next week's plan, lol!) sometime (pork shoulder, sausage & onions plus haricot beans and any other veg I've got in the fridge!)

Having a couple of glasses of wine this evening so leaves me with a few to carry over for tomorrow's meal out!

That sounds delicious Denise . Some courgettes found their way into my casserole too. I'm starving, sitting down to eat soon. :D

Thanks for that. All fed now and I can still have a Benefit bar with a cuppa. :D

I looked up Delia's potee recipe and it's very similar to Tana Ramsey's sausage casserole (adapted to be SW friendly of course) . I know we like that but I've not made it for a while.

That'll be the goodies helping at the food bank. :(

I know why SW make sure you don't go hungry. I won't do that again. I bought some chocolate marzipan and some Epoisse today as my special treats for Christmas and they're calling to me. :(
