Hi all, miserable day here ( in more ways than one)

WI convinced I feel thinner but gained 1lb . I had to have bread based products on Thursday whilst sitting with his nibs as out on a trip at lunchtime with my other 1-1. Always gain

Feeling carp and sorry for myself :o, black dog visiting too :(
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Sorry to hear about your friend greentiger. Such a worry.:(

Bread stuff never seems to agree with you tie. The last thing you need is more problems.:(

I enjoyed my meal last night and DH didn't want me to drive so many syns were consumed. Back on plan today and tomorrow but will be having wine syns I can't really spare.:o Off to football in a bit. Probably to be humiliated on national television so I'll need a drink when I get home. I've prepped the dinner and it will just need reheating and veg cooking when we get in. That's not likely to be until about 8.30 p.m. thanks to the great god Sky!

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, pear banana
L: veggie omelette, ham, pickles, cottage cheese
D: chicken casserole (onion, celery, leeks, carrots, mushrooms) with butter beans, new potatoes and broccoli
Syns: syrup 2.5, cornflour 1, wine syns??
  • Sorry to hear about your friend greentiger - mum has/had copd and it wasn't until we went away last year did I realise how much it affected her walking (I say has/had as her old doctors told her for years that she had it now her new ones are saying it's just asthma)

Well WI today saw a -1.5 lb which means I'm 3.5lbs away from target & in a new stone bracket so pretty happy with that.
Bad news is that we're away next week for a long weekend but I'm determined this trip is not going to result in a gain....the way I look at it I've got 3 weeks before Christmas to get to target - so that's just over 1lb a week.

Had a bit of a brunch with junior today so we're going to just have a snack tonight but wine will be drunk.

Not sure if there's running tomorrow as the weather is pretty awful here so I've decided that even if there isn't, I'll go running/swimming in the morning.

Have a good evening everyone - definitely looks like one for the pjs!

Well done GTS on the loss and the new stone bracket and not far from target. You can do it by then. As you say it's just lb a week.

Thanks, beanie, maman and tweets, for your kind thoughts. Denise, thanks for your story; I know giving p smoking can improve the situation - and (even though I’ve never smoked) I know how hard it is to give up, having watched my friend try and fail so often.

I was waving to you, maman, at the match. Did you see me?

Things have been pretty ok today - apart from a wee blip. I am endeavouring to use up all sorts of ancient goods lurking in my cupboards. For some reason, I have several jars of mincemeat. I came across a recipe for Instant Fruit cake, which uses a jar, a packet of Wright’s orange cake mix, 30ml veg oil and 200ml water, so I decided to give it a go. It made a BIG cake! I had a little slice and it was delicious! And the mincemeat was bb Feb 2014!

Breakfast: fruit ’n’ fibre (b), blueberries, brambles, ff Greek yogurt
    Snack: 1 custard cream (2 ½ )
Lunch: home made tomato vegetable soup. Banana
    Snack: 1 custard cream (2 ½ )
Dinner: Pinch of Nom KFC rice box (2), small slice of fruit cake
    Snack: cheese (a), grapes
