Morning All,
Reporting -1lb this week. Very happy with this as I'm struggling to stay on plan most of the days.0 -
Morning! 1/2 off for me this week. Can't decide whether to be irritated (just another half needed for a shiny that seems to have taken ages to get) or seriously pleased by it (weekend away, three drinking days, waffles, etc etc). I think I'll be pleased and hope nothing catches up with me!0

Another flipping STS Was seriously unimpressed. Consultant suggested that I think about anything I may be doing which I got away with in the beginning and see if that is causing the plateau. SP days don't work for me, but she said to try SP for main meal, at least there won't be the pressure to be 100% on plan for an SP day.
Started to think about it when I got home, then realised that I have only 2 more WI until new year at which point things will be changing anyway, so have decided to chill about it, keep doing what I am doing and hope to maintain and start afresh with the new changes. Hopefully that will help start things again.A smile costs little but creates much0 -

It's going in the right direction Vixstar. Just take it and be pleased, especially at this time of the year.OxfordGirl wrote: »Morning All,

Is it Christmas stuff getting in the way? Lack of planning? What's making you struggle? Well done on your pound:T.Gettingtherequickly wrote: »Another flipping STS Was seriously unimpressed. Not sure why she said that unless it's about carbs at night being harder to work off which some people believe. Personally I find it easier to have SP lunches (like soup or an omelette) than a main course and have my HEXs for breakfast. Cottage pie with swede & carrot is about the only go to main that fills me up. One thing I have done lately to cut back on carbs is making some carrot chips alongside the potato ones. I'm not sure it helps much but it makes me feel virtuous.;)
We're out for a meal again tonight. This is to celebrate DD2's birthday earlier in the week. I've looked at the menu and I'll probably go for a retro prawn cocktail (so just syns in mayo/sauce) and then either a steak or more fish!:D Puddings never tempt me so no problem there. I'm weighing up offering to drive.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO veg with ham and picklesas above
Syns: tbc0 -
Agree with you Maman it's much easier to do SP during the day and then EE for the main meal! Like you I often have SP for lunch and sometimes breakfast as well but definitely want my carbs with my main meal. The only way I might be able to do SP in the evening would be to have the main meal at lunchtime - as I did yesterday but still had a meal at home in the evening!!! but I think if I moved things around on a regular basis it would be easier to achieve.
Today's plan:
B - stuffed portobello mushroom
L - WW wrap (HEB); tuna mayo (0.5 syn), crunchy HM coleslaw (no mayo just the grated veg); LO pea guacamole; 4 olives (1.5 Syns)
D - salmon traybake - lemon & garlic butter on the salmon (3 syns) and various roasted veg
HEA - milk as usual
HEB - WW wrap
Syns - 5 as above, may also have a couple of G&Ts
