My Christmas cake is still at the soaking the fruit stage, bubbs; tomorrow it’ll get baked. Usually I have this done by mid-October to give me lots of time to feed it. I haven’t written my Christmas letters for overseas yet, either.

    That’s a great loss, got2dothisnow.

Yes, maman, we got a win and I WASN’T THERE!!! I’ve had to make do with the club’s highlights. Maybe I shouldn’t go back as I missed the last win too! BTW, I love lamb, my favourite roast. You’ll love India, but be prepared to be shocked too. The Golden Triangle was fantastic. Is Shimla on your itinerary? I can’t believe it’s almost 2 years since I was there.

Believe it or not, I’ve been quite well behaved today.
Brunch: B French toast, banana & blueberries, maple syrup (1)
Snack: Thornton’s raspberry marzipan chocolate (3), not my favourite but it was my turn at the Advent calendar
Dinner: fish pie (A), green beans & beetroot
Snack: small piece of Instant Fruit cake – no idea of syns, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t more than 11!

    Night all.

What's the problem Beanie?. How can we help you?

Have you contacted your consultant? She may be able to help with some ideas.

I just need to get back on track.
Too much of making the wrong choices for all sorts of reasons.

I thought you’d have been happy to see Sparky go, maman. Whoever you get can’t make as much of a mess as our last manager; no one else would be mad enough to bring in 14 unknown quantities all at once while getting rid of any decent experience!

Hang in there, beanie, you can do it!

Wow, v1ckyt, fantastic loss. I had a loss too, a tiny one of – 0.6lbs, but it’s better than nothing, so I’m happy. Not been so good today, though, but plan to stay within syns limit.

Breakfast: B muesli, chopped apple, ginger & ff Greek yogurt
Lunch: prawn noodle soup (from the magazine)
    Snack: Twirl (6)
Dinner: burger, A cheese, tomato, wholemeal roll (6), mayo (1)
    Snack: ginger nut (2)

  • Morning All,

Weighed last night, finally made it to my normal group. To my amazement it showed -0.5lb which is unbelievable based on what I ate all weekend... This means I reached my initial target, but as I lowered it already it's still 4lb to go...

Hope everyone's week is going well and on plan :)

Well done OxfordGirl. Good luck on losing the final 4lb to reach your new target. Is that your final target or are you hoping to lower it again once you reach it? It can be quite difficult to decide where the best weight for you is.

Will be back later once I've decided what we're having for lunch - got to find something else as had planned on stuffed mushrooms for breakfast and forgot to buy the portabello mushrooms! So I moved lunch forward and we had scrambled eggs & spinach on toast! Very nice it was too.

    Morning!

Well if the scales at the medical centre were anything to go by I'm a STS this week. Scales at home show -1 this morning (no idea why!) so will see how it goes on Saturday at group.

Beanie, I'm also struggling with my choices at the moment. I'm going back to keeping a food diary this week, would that maybe help you too?

It's going to take a lot of commitment if I'm going to hit my Xmas target but I'm not giving up hope. But with 3 weeks left and 11lbs still to lose, and I've got 2 nights out, I think damage limitation mode has been activated!

I'm still choked with the cold, have no motivation to eat healthily and stupidly went for a few pints yesterday, I'm just not doing myself any favours.

    Todays meals:
    B - Pastrami sandwich on w/meal (HEB)
L - SW Lasagne (HEA + 3 syns for extra cheddar on top)
D - Mince and potatoes with veg
    Snack - Lemsip!!

How many syns are in Lemsip? Hopefully not many as I may overdose on them today! It's just the normal cold & flu lemon variety.

    Thanks :)
