Tweets, so sorry to read about your mum, my heart is with you.
I hope you and DS both get extra loves from your Poppy at this time, she will miss your mum too as I know she used to spoil her rotten :A
Checking in with yet another week of STS I really need to pull my socks up and get back on it as I am teetering on going over the 3lb allowance. I am kind of lacklustre at the moment and although every meal is SW friendly there are definately more sins being used than should be.
I share your pain majorica . On the one hand we've proved by STS that can maintain but it's never a maintain at the bottom of the range!
You're right that the only way is to really seriously get back to plan but just a few extra syns can make all the difference.
Today will be relatively high syn for me but during the week I'm an angel.
I'm going to batch cook some savoury mince and swede & carrot mash later.
Today's EE plan:
B : NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, pear and banana
L: veggie omelette, ham, beetroot, cornichons, cottage cheesechicken stir fry with noodles and SW chips
Syns: 2.5 syrup, 2.5 honey, weekend wine.0 -
Well done. :T
Do you really enjoy birthday cake? Is it worth the syns? I'd have a sliver to be polite and then feed it to everyone else.
Hi Maman, I thought about what you said, and I agree, it wasn't worth the syns.
I managed to not have a slice, had a couple of Maltesers which fell off whilst making it, and sat in McDonald's with just a cup of tea whilst the birthday party group had food, so am feeling very virtuous! Let's hope the scales remember that restraint next week!

Evening everyone.
I'm reading every day but forgive me for not commenting on all the posts - just to say well done to all losers and maintainers, and commiserations gainers - stick with it! Sympathies to those under the weather - I think we need a cold snap to kill off any lurgies and some proper winter sunshine to cheer us all up.
Beanie I went to DD1s graduation this week. There were lots of ushers/assistants there and were assisting people who had any difficulty. There were also reserved seats with level access (and the best view!). Would you be able to contact the university for advice? Sorry if I'm stating the obvious but it's such a wonderful occasion, it would be a shame if it caused you worry. Congratulations to your son, by the way!
Weigh in today (after ducking it last week) finds me slightly under target - big sigh of relief! I could do with a couple of pounds off though as that seems to determine whether I feel comfortable in the lower of the two dress sizes I seem to be at the moment (and will be a bit of insurance for the festive season!)
Today has been a bit light on speed but house now groaning with veg and fruit so all set for next week.
For the gin drinkers - hunting for ice cubes tonight (all gone) I had the brainwave of putting frozen berries into my gin and tonic - an interesting flavour and extra speed!
Have a good weekend all.
Thanks Emsy, for thinking of me.

WI today saw - 1.5 lbs meaning I'm 5lb off target. The other good news of the day is that I bought a running T-shirt today and had to buy a 14.....when I started I was a 22 bordering on a 24!
Today has been up in the air - the choir I sing with had a outside gig today after which we call went for a coffee to warm up but abstained from eating anything.
The mixed grill that was planned has been postponed until tomorrow as hubby went out and has only just come back so something light has been eaten
Going running tomorrow morning....really want to lose at least another 1lb this week as I'll get into a new stone bracket then0 -

Morning. I have had a banana and a pear so far. I might have weetabix but a bit later Roast chicken dinner later my favourite. If I don’t have weetabix I could have cheese on toast for tea0
