thriftylass - Sending hugs.
Toni'sfriend - Good news about the scan.
NSD - 17/20.
Walked to/from florist. Picked up my Mum's artificial flower Christmas arrangement for her grave.
Decorator/painter came at 8.30am. Painted most of the ceilings in the flat. He had to go and get more paint. Luckily he brought his own refreshments.
Used what I had in.
Did tell decorator/painter about the pre paid prescription card. In the long run he is going to save money. We worked out he would be paying over £200 per year for his medication without the card.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -

Thrifty- Dont beat yourself up, me & my hub eat the same, both take care of our teeth. Ive never had a filling, hubs are always having problems. My son was lip lied & at about 18 months after weeks of him refusing to brush his teeth,I forced him, it split & it bled like nobodys business. I hadn't even realised & that's why he took such an issue. Ive never forgiven myself for it! Mummy guilt. You sound like an AMAZING mum to me, because if you weren't, you wouldn't care so much xx0

Mixed bag of a day , after a terrible morning, I ventured into town & spoke to the pharmacist about my IBS & how lousy I was feeling. Anyway he suggested I sack off the medication I've just bought (grr) & try something else, which worked almost instantaneously.:j:j:j I feel sore still where my tummy was so swollen but I feel like I can get on with my day. I'm hoping this is a real break through for me. Aand Ive lost 4lb , since Friday- silver linings :rotfl:
made mince pies with my boys after tea & then we went out on their bikes "early light spotting" it was a bit of a made up activity but we had fun.:D0 -
