NSDs Now 2 NSD and 1 XSD. Tomorrow will have spends :)

ORGANISE your time. Got myself organised today for accountant visit on Fri. Will prep and freeze cheese rolls for DS3's lunchbox for the next week later. Currently have falafels baking in oven ready for lunch when I get back from work tomorrow (only in for about 2.5-3 hours, but will get back around 1.30 and will no doubt be hungry!)

VALUES (Want - If I get to 8K OPs I am starting my 2020 Florida fund early.) Used up some bits to ensure no waste. Froze some others.

    ENJOY yourself.

MAKE an inventory of the food. Dinner tonight = leftover veg from yesterday's roast combined with some mushy peas leftover from a few days ago and turned into bubble and squeak with leftover meat :) Can of chickpeas turned into falafels for lunches.

BUDGETS Donated toiletries to homeless mission. Spends: Groceries 38.13.01, Medical 6.50, Xmas 121.24 (incudes £45 voucher from cashback used), Parking 1.00, DIY/ House 11.09, Car maintenance 6.50, Newspaper 3.00.

EXERCISE 4 times a week, 20 minutes a day None today.

    RULES

IN case of emergency I need to put details of my breakdown cover in car. I have a copy on my phone but no good if out of battery. Have a blanket and wind up torch in car boot but could put another blanket in.
Have good supply of meds. OH changed a blown bulb in my car :)

NOW is always the right time to start. Logged all food and drink again today - really helping to focus me as to whether a 'treat' is worth it (usually no)

NO takeaways etc - None today. OH had originally planned to visit chippy to get a portion of chips for him to have with leftover pie but changed his mind :T

EVERYONE should know their debt free date. Only debt is BTL mtge which we are reducing. Extra monies go to this at mo. EXTRA - need to list a couple of bits on fb00k/ flebay. Hopefully someone coming tonight to buy a small item... we shall see...

WINTER proof your home,- Have got a heating chap coming later in month to re-hang kitchen radiator and also service the boiler. OH needs to rehang rear lounge curtains. Skirting board finally fitted in hall by front door - stopping some drafts :)

YOU should cook from scratch. Yes.

OUTSIDE Hanging out/ getting in washing. Putting g-pigs in garden/ back in garage and around 10-15 mins moving empty pots and a couple of slabs. That's it for today.

    REPORT regularly - here :)

KINDNESS costs nothing. Does ignoring OH's attitude rather than starting an argument count? :D;)
I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul
    Repaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NIL
    Net sales 2024: £20
  • Evening everyone :coffee:
NSD today, busy at work, marked a set of books and a set of tests.
Still stressed about money and home life.
And my washing machine has broken.
    Still plodding on though.
    Happy birthday chocolatelover
And love and hugs to all that need them.

    NSD achieved 4/20.
Walked part of the way to/from sorting office. Had to pick up a parcel. Used another ethical company to get a glass jar of toothpaste and a glass jar of mouthwash tablets. No plastic and the jars can be recycled.
Put the things I had put out for my mini break into the suitcase. Don't thing I need to do much more packing. Have all the paper work in a plastic wallet, eg hotel booking and flight information.
Done self care, but still need to work on not playing the computer games.
Using up what I have in already.
Did most things on my to do list. Only a few things to be done.

It's been a NSD but about to go out to a gig so will have to spend on parking and no doubt some sort of drink as I doubt they allow people to bring their own drinks in. Other than that it's been spend free, went riding on a friend's horse today, really enjoyed it. Can't really be bothered to go out tonight but the tickets cost a fair amount so we're definitely going!
  • NSD - Still in 3/20 A's was spending today.

ENJOY - I met a friend in Edinburgh today and had lunch there. Sat for more than 2 hours so had a great chat.

MAKE - I kept some leftovers from yesterday for a light dinner tonight.

EXERCISE - Exercised to dvd this morning.

NOW - Not sure about this - the Banoffi pie was delicious 😋

NO - No takeaways today and I even took a flask of coffee to drink on the journey to Edinburgh.

WINTERPROOF - I wore old boots today and my feet were frozen. I didn't wear my new Uggs ( bought during recent holiday to Australia) as I had nor waterproofed them and rain was forecast. Will have to do this asap.

OUTSIDE - We walked along Princes Street and around the Poppy Memorial Garden. It was very moving.

Enjoying sitting watching tv now xx
Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order :) )

Today I am grateful for finding a vegan cheese that dd actually likes on pizza, for a professional physio who isn't insisting I go back frequently, for the smell of bonfire, for cheerful pupils, for dh prepping tea, for a catch up with a colleague at work, for the A team (though I must admit that Mr T isn't as big or muscly as I remembered him being).

NST will aim for 15. 2/15 still only on 2

ORGANISE your time. Will try and find a balance between studying, household chores, family time and me time.

VALUES. Ultimate goal is to continue to OP the mortgage but to keep in mind ethical, environmental and family values.

ENJOY yourself. Try and do something everyday that I enjoy. Had a fire and lit candles in the garden with the family

MAKE an inventory of the food in your cupboards, fridge and freezer at the start of the month. Done for the week. Meal plan and shop from the cupboards, freezers and allotments first before visiting supermarkets.

BUDGETS should be set before the start of the month. Already done will log spends on here and look at, at the end of the month. Will aim to buy something for the food bank every week.Still not done this but will try to remember when I go shopping this week.I did end up buying a new handbag today as mine has finally given up the ghost (been mended countless times) £30 and Petrol today £50.24

EXERCISE will aim to walk for an hour everyday with the dog. Short walk with the dog, but walked for 4 hours shopping with the kids. Please let this count.

IN case of emergency Add any items you might need (torch, shovel for snow, old carpet for traction, extra coat or blanket) to your car boot. If you don't belong to a breakdown organisation, make sure you have phone numbers for friends or relatives who might come and help you.
Make sure you and your children can be seen if walking or cycling. still need to sort the cars

NOW is always the right time to start.will aim to have more faith in myself

NO takeaways, coffee shops, vending machines, canteens unless for a special event. Take your own food and drinks to work, hospital appointments and days out where possible. None bought today as my friend treated me to lunch

EVERYONE should know their debt free date continuing to pay bank of mum (Nov 2019) and OP the mortgage (another 17 and half years) Another TT of 20p

WINTER proof your home, if you haven't already done so. Need to hang new thicker curtains in dining room

[/I][/B]YOU should cook from scratch when you can (unless time is short or it costs more to make) and batch cook. Will aim to do this at least 5 days out of 7. 3/5. Patatas bravas and cous cous for tea.
OUTSIDE It may be cold but wrap up warm and make the most of the available light - it will help your immune system and your mental health.see exercise

    REPORT i'm here

KINDNESS costs nothing. Everyone you meet is carrying some sort of burden, so try to be kind, especially to yourself. will try

I mentioned to one of my classes today that we were on unit 7, and that there are 9 units in the text book, so we'd soon be on book 2. I then oh-so-casually mentioned that if any of them were trekkies, then we were on 7 of 9. Not a hint of understanding from the ignorami. Sigh.
