Seriously, it's not going to happen. I have reached the acceptance stage of grief/moderation policy rebellion.
lol .... I am tenacious and do not give in, in particular when I have done absolutely nothing wrong.0 -

Regrettably if you continue to be tenacious you will probably discover that the forum team have approximately the same rights as a pub landlord. "You don't like my pork scratchings? Well the door is over there"."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -

Good luck.
I would not hold my breath waiting for a reply.
But happy to be proved wrong.
As others have said it’s annoying when post people are passionate about get deleted0 -
I have never reported a thread, post or a poster (if that's how it works) but have reported obvious Spam on occasion.
I would prefer a thread to be blocked rather than deleted. There are usually interesting and informative posts in the majority of threads. It is a shame when the good parts go just because of a stupid post or an (at times) overly sensitive reader.
Can non-members report a thread? I can't remember if they can see DT.0 -

With respect that cannot be an excuse for the moderators apparent conduct.
Do the moderators or Martin agree with such an allegedly haphazard means of regulating what at first sight appears to be a credible, open and well used forum ?
If mods gave reasons for a thread to be removed that would be helpful as I've yet to understand why any single thread I've read has been removed. I've yet to see one get seriously out of hand.
I've only ever reported spam and never a thread comment I didn't agree with.It's nothing , not nothink.0 -
T Nope, never reported a thread/post although I have hit the button accidentally a few times.
Got given a yellow card once for a ridiculous reason, although it was rightly overturned. A poster in the thread said they'd reported my post, I genuinely thought they were joking!0 -
Wouldn't report a thread from my own point of view, as a free speech fanatic it would be hypocritical of me to be capable of being offended. Nothing is off limits for me but I am happy to respond robustly or walk away with no hard feelings.
I would report posts if I felt they were adversely affecting someone else who didn't seem to be dealing with it.0 -
I think it was inevitable that the disability thread got the boot. I found it vile. And no it wasn't me.0
