I tried kleeneze two years ago and put in excessive work but with too many agents working one area it is hard to get orders. I also had to deal with another agent collecting in MY BOOKS meaning my orders were stolen and also I had to keep replacing books. When I finally found enough evidence that he was doing this my upline said "we all have to do what we can to stay afloat". It was at that stage I said goodbye. (edit:This bit should have been in a quotation box, dunno what happened!)

This happened to me too! I had one customer who only ordered (but massively)about once a year. When I knocked on her door to collect the catalogue she told me she's left it out and someone had collected it. Inside she'd left an order for over £300!!!!! I was livid but the customer wasn't bothered as long as she got her stuff! No customer loyalty there eh?!

  • Hi. Joined Kleeneze 10 years ago and would love to share my thoughts but having trouble posting so this is a test to see if I can make it work then will write more….
  • Hi again. I am used to posting catalogues - never done this before!!
So when we joined we had no money and no idea what we were getting into but we were so excited about improving our lot we went for it big time!!
Like you Maz we put in excessive work, we came across all the problems, we were told it was our apprenticeship and that when we introduced others we would be able to help them over the hurdles. With hindsight I think the smart ones give up! It is survival of the fittest out there on the streets…So we built our team, it was awful waiting to see how new people got on - even though we repeatedly inoculated them before they started. It is hard to know what to say to them to help - so I can sort of sympathise with your upline Maz.
In theory the plan sounds possible and great. But with so many people having tried Kleeneze and failed their reputation does not help, plus the products have never improved infact many are embarrassingly awful!
After 7 years of endlessly trying to find new people to join us we finally gave up. We built a relatively big team. I now feel we were brainwashed by all the hype, and sadly we duplicated all that stuff. We do have a residual income as people in our team carry on, some love it, some love their customers, others love the meetings, some even seem to love all that stuff upline continuously go on about! We can no longer honestly promise that new people can do what we did.
The monthly cheque we still take has come at a huge cost to my sanity and to our credit cards - we spent a lot to build the business - yes this was our stupid decision, our upline called it investment. So our Kleeneze cheque pays mainly for the past.
Thankfully we have been able to move on to something new. We learned a lot. I do regret the amount of time we wasted in the Kleenze world and feel bad for our children who had to suffer. Not whinging nor feeling sorry for myself, I do feel we were vulnerable and easy prey for a program like this. It feels wonderful to get this off my chest!
  • You have to be careful when starting any type of business like this. I think they can be a good money-making option if you stay away from the meetings and the training side and just teach yourself, because the system side will eat up all of your free time and a lot of your money as well, while not really helping you to make money in the business. There are also much better options out there for starting up a business than Kleenze.

Lucky for you, having some residual even though it's paying off all your previous investment. At least, you'll be getting some of your money back, I just had to write it off. Not complaining or moaning, it was my own bad judgement at the time, buoyed up by all the hype about how 'easy' it was. I daren't sit down and tot up how much I 'invested' though, think I would have a fit of the vapours!

What a surprise a agent delivered catalogues on our street last week and despite people putting the catalogue outside, they never returned to pick them up on the day. Perhaps its another person who is fed up and duped by this marketing scheme

Just a quick question for the distributors on here. If Someone starts with Kleeneeze and decides very quickly it is not for them, were would they stand on getting any monies paid out back?? would Kleeneze buy the catalogues back for instance or would the distributor just get their joining fee back?? Just curious as i would guess if lots of people start then almost immediately drop out this is an easy way for the company to make money.
  • It may have changed since we left but it used to 14 day money back guarantee and i think that was just the Business Kit amount was refunded not any sales aids, catalogues purchased. Perhaps a current distributor could let us know if thats still the case?
We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!
  • I think the biggest problem with Kleeneze is that it is outdated. Unlike the best network marketing companies, true residual income is difficult to achieve from Kleneeze as you constantly rely on repeating orders.

You are also more or less restricted to a specific area, unless you are prepared to travel around delivering and collecting catalogues.

From my experiences of network marketing, the companies that provide a product that continues to earn you a residual income month in month out are the ones to go for. That was the criteria I looked for when I opted to go with the company I am with.

I am sure some people will have success with Kleeneze, but I imagine the majority will be those who joined many years ago when buying on the doorstep was much more popular

I did Kleeneze about 10 years ago now but after putting 300 catalogues out a week never made more than £80 a week! I did it for 6 months. My area is a problem though as others after me have also found. Loads of students and short term lets.
