thanks. The income was not everything, and has now been replaced by conventional business. But its not about the money, its about quality of life and happiness in ones chosen career. good luck0

Can I ask some of the Kleeneze reps why they do not break away and set up their own business. Kleeneze stuff is notoriously very over priced ... if you have a network that works then why not source equal products much cheaper from elsewhere? You must know which items your customers are buying so concentrate on those and add in all those little things that they ask 'why don't you sell this'. if you can make good money through Kleeneze (as you claim) then surely you could do significantly better through your own business?

I believe a company was set up called Everyday Essentials (or something similar). As far as I'm aware, they no longer exist.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

Bear in mind that Kleeneze don't just do cleaning products, they do all sort of other things too, a single person business would just have too much trouble tying to source things (from many different suppliers) at a decent cost. You just wouldn't be able to do it and make much money out of it. Plus you would have to factor in storage space for stock etc.
That's the good thing about KZ, you only order what your customers want, get the delivery and then get the goods out to the customer.
Due to the many varied products you are not selling 100s of the same thing in a month, it could be 5 of this, 2 of that, 6 of something else, the odd 1 and 2 here and there, if you could get stock from elsewhere I am sure that you would have to buy in bulk. Personally I wouldn't want a pallet of bottles of bleach hanging around the house, would you?
Let KZ worry about the suppliers, storage etc.0 -
I just can't understand why having built an income of £5500 every 4 weeks, gross / net or whatever - you just left. Personally, knowing the work you would have to put in to get this far is astonishing.
And as you are self employed, all expenditure relating the to business is tax deductable therefore, you wouldn't quite pay as much tax as if you were earning that as a salary.
As I said before, this country allows free speech and free enterprise - I'm in Kleeneze for 5 years and we'll see what happens but if it doesn't work for me I will know why. I simply didn't do enough.
If you are reading these threads and wondering if you should join Kleeneze, don;t let them put you off, make up your own mind and decide if you can do the work you are shown to do. There is some truth in what people say but some are also very bitter. We are all shown the big cheques and think instantly that these people have only been working at it for a couple of weeks but they haven't - it does take time.
anyway, if someone told you that Ford didn't make good cars, would you not buy one? probably not becuase you decide for yourself. If someone went on holiday and didn't like it, would you not go. These are questions you need to think about and ask yourself - people have good and bad experiences with everything, its what makes us different. Imagine a world where we had to look at a forum before we did anything or bought anything - we would all end up livcing in the same place, going on the same holidays, working for the same people and driving the same cars.
I'm not going to close with any cheesy Kleeneze cliche, becuase I've heard them all and used them from time to time and all they are is a technique.
Give it a chance, and make your own mind up.
Well, have I rattled someones cage. Have left your mlm business and have replaced my income with a genuine and moral one. I will explain my reasons as fully as you like, but more importantly I would like to expose Kleeneze for what it is, and remember there is only room for a few at the top so dont kid yourself that your income will continue for life as you lead people to believe!
Are you so surprised that it is possible for someone to leave this business because of monthly cheque. Anyone that achieves a reasonable income with Kleeneze can also achieve it in normal business. I use the term business loosely, as this is a business that you cannot control, you are lead by others either upline or the company themselves. A better description might be a club or franchise I suppose.
Morally, was fed up with trying to convince people that they could achieve great things, and blame them if it went wrong with the awful cliche "Kleeneze works if you do", this is a huge lie. The meetings "Amway style", bullying people to join, and pushing people to persude family and friends to join their business, if they didn't join they were not your friends and were inferior to you. This is great for an mlm company as it starts to make people vulnerable and rely more and more on their team for social activity and support, as they become isolated.
But deep down, knew that Kleeneze is finished. The sales figures have continued to fall over the last three years, and the market is becomming smaller, this due to over pricing and poor quality which has alienated many clients. Those at the top will milk it for as long as they can, as will Findel. But will you see many new superstars - I think not.0 -

The beauty of multi level marketing (MLM), referral marketing, network marketing or whatever one calls it is the fact that the products and distribution network are already there. There are goods and services to cover just about everybody's wants. Notice I did not say "needs." The startup cost for a "business" is £200 at most. Any MLM company worth it's salt will have excellent products. From my signature you will see that I have been with Telecom Plus (£199.75 startup when I joined). I can't stop because although I do no work, the blighters keep paying me every month. Not a lot because I never put the required effort in to become a "star." That is absolutely down to me. I freely admit it where many would blame the goods/servcices/whatever. Setting up a rival company with rival products is unnecessary because the system works if the new recruit does. Having said that, I have learned over the last six years that I do not like rejection. Therefore one needs a system that eliminates that rejection. Last year I found such a system and company. They sell nutritional, slimming and other products and have one of the (if not THE) best compensation plans for distributors. Kleeneze is an established company with offerings that enough people want to make the work worhtwhile. Their problem is getting more distributors to join and shift even more product. I suspect that many new people are told about how the "stars" are earning fortunes, and, believe they can accomplish the same without really working. They can not. I have seen some of these stars in Telecom Plus and they have worked long and hard. Not only that, they are excellent communicators willing to show others how they did it. Most people just can't be bothered to put the effort in to learn the skills and do the work required to be successful. So far, I have been one of that majority.
The bottom line is Kleeneze (and any other decent MLM company) can make one an excellent living standard. But, hard work is required to build up the momentum needed to provide an excellent standard of living with just enough effort to keep that large flywheel turning.

I totally agree with your comments. People I speak to about Kleeneze want to know how much they can earn. To be honest we are taught to advertise incorrectly as I never earned £100 a week doing 400 catalogues a week but I could see that the more people in my team each doing a bit was better than me trying to do loads and thats what I tell people. Pointless lying to them as they will get disheartened quickly and quit.
Also as previously mentioned, I don't tell people what I eanr becuase quite frankly, its none of their business.
P.S
whats this telecom thing you do that keeps paying you???? details please if you would be so kind.Ivan,

The so called experts offering their opinion who couldnt make a success of anything never mind kleeneze
as ive said on my previous posts any one wanting to pay me a visit to watch me spread hundreds of monthly certificates of income of people in our team alone , never mind anyone else in the kleeneze business , across my living room floor please come visit ???? ( you wouldnt dare !!!!!!!!)
you will always have sceptics / neg heads/ experts / jack of all trades - master of nothing people
With a Board such as this I ve noticed It brings to the very fore all the SO CALLED MLM EXPERTS out from the woodwork to voice thier opinion on Opportunities like Kleeneze ( they dont work !!!!) yeh right !
Kleeneze has been going for 85 years - it isnt gonna stop just cos a few neg heads decide it doesnt work
secondly , there are 40 million working aged people in the UK , every year thousands get to pension age with nothing to show for their working life - potless and broke basically , proving the job plan doesnt work
Kleeneze still offers anyone at any age the option to earn within flexible hours and extra £200-£500 per month
95% of the population get to 65 potless and broke
stats prove this
Yawn yawn! Just like being at any Kleeneze/Amway etc convention. Same cliches, same put downs, same boasts, and soon you'll face the same litigation. It's just a pyramid and another way of exploiting the desperate and uneducated. :rotfl:0 -

I really hope it works out for you IainJ, we were always honest and very upfront (much to the disgust of our upline) and the people we did get to join stayed longer(most still quit eventually though!!) than if we hadn't been honest and many are still friends now - the best thing that came out of NM in my view;). We ran out energy and money to keep going after nearly 3 years and couldn't retail enough or bring in people quick enough to keep the income coming in to plug holes in the team as they appeared.
Good Luck
We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0
