Kleeneze

The way it is now Kleeneze win again because they get all those start up fees and turnover of product for a short time at least .
I see. This implies that Kleeneze's biggest customers, and the biggest cash cow, are the agents themselves.
This backs up what I said before - only a small percentage of Kleenze start ups go on to make a living good enough to retire on. Probably significantly less than those who pursue a 'normal' career (or a 45 year plan as Kleeneze propaganda calls it)

I hate Kleeneze with passion they are by far the worst company that delivers door 2 door.
Any catalogues I get of there's goes in bin.

Feel almost obliged to put something here. Ex distributor.
OK. Kleeneze is a network marketing company, reliant on independant distributors shifting products and recruiting new independant distributors shifting product too. That's how they stay afloat, like any other commercial organisation, they stay profitable by shifting products. It's all about moving stock from the warehouse to the end consumer i.e the customer. I don't have a problem with network marketing per se if it gives value to the consumer.
To keep overheads down, independant distributors cut out the middle men , therefore maximising profits, for the company.
All commercial enterprises stay afloat by shifting products and making profit. Profit is not a dirty word btw, if companies didn't make profit they wouldn't have the cash to pay employees, and keep them in employment. If a company doesn't make profit, it can't meet overheads like staff costs and sometimes goes out of business and employees lose their jobs. Profit pays wages and is subject to variables which the comnpany has no control over, like a sudden increase in council taxes etc.
Big problem that Kleeneze has is, by incorrectly publicising the EASE by which an individual or individuals can make a residual income by joining their endeavour. It is not easy, it is very time consuming and dependant on customers re-ordering. It is VERY HARD WORK. I felt that the hours you put in were understated, it is, after all, supposed to be a part time, extra cash opportunity. Many of the products can be bought at the local pound shop. One particular item that I spotted last year was actually being offered as a freebie with the purchase of petrol a few years ago! Recruiting new members was, I found, extremely difficult. People would join, then quit after a very short period of time. We are also under the threat of recession and people are not spending money on non-essentials.
Like quite a lot of network marketing companies, they have a huge (approx 95%) turnover of fresh start ups who quit. Also, if you have a Kleeneze business and can't or are not prepared to spend your every working minute retailing, income is heavily influenced by distributors that you have managed to recruit. When a distributor leaves, your income reduces.
My major concern(s) with this are that -
a) You are told it's easy. The concept is simple IN PRINCIPLE yes, but the implementation is not. If it was easy money, why would there be such a huge turnover of distributors, surely they would stay? Unfortunately, you have to be in thsi for a while before this becomes evident, this information is not freely given.
b) The hours you have to put in are grossly understated, if you want to make any decent money out of it. I ended up working about 30 hours a week on top of my day job. Depends on if you're content to earn £20 a week I know but quite honestly it's a lot of hassle for not very much.
c) Considering such a massive turnover of people who start and invariably pack it in, doesn't that tell you something????
People have a right to chose how they make their living of course and I would never denigrate anyone who chooses this route. It didn't work for me and believe me when I say, I couldn't have done more. I ended up exhausted, demoralised and seriosly out of pocket. Some people love it! Some people make some money from it.
What I would say though is - before joining any 'too good to be true' company DO YOUR RESEARCH !!!! Don't be taken in by the hype, I know it can seem like a lifeline at the time but let's face it, they generally prey on the desperate and greedy, who see the prospect of easy money.
There are good network marketing companies out there and I'm very glad to have found one after all this.
When you view any particular company ask yourself - If it were me, would I want to buy this product? If it doesn't sit well with you or you don't do it, trust your instincts.
Hope my own personal experience helps someone.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

Great post Maz.
In stark contrast to the propaganda we have seen from those who are trying to entice people into kleenze.
We have a VERY high turnover of agents around here. None of them seem to stick at it. All we want is for new agents NOT to blanket drop the same streets 5 minutes after we have told the predecessor that do not want unsolicited catalogues.0 -
YOU ARE FULL OF SH*T
Nobody believes your comments & you are dillusional.
Is that the best "reasoned" arguement you can come up with? I know what I have earned from Kleeneze and I know what it has bought me and I also know what work and effort I have put into it. In what way does that make me "delusional?"
It is shame that people feel the need to slag off other people's achievements

Totally agree toblerone.
Strange how some people are ready to believe the distributors that didn't make money and trash over the ones that did make money! Says a lot about the human condition eh?
I KNOW people that have and still do make money from Kleeneze but they work themselves into the ground to do so. It just didn't work for me.
The NW company I'm with now is a fraction of the work and I get paid every month, whether I do any more work or not.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

I was earning around £100/week part time a little over 12 years ago. The reason I packed it in was the sponsors. (Those higher up the chain than you) They insisted on being sent a blank cheque each time for goods, before I had collected the cash from customers. The result was, I was paying for goods I hadn't sold. Not good.
I have been told this has all changed now, but it was enough to put me off for life. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints0 -

Wow yes things have changed since then:D, now distributors are responsible for their own accounts (i believe credit checks are done before an account will be opened), I have to say it sounds awful how it used to be:eek:.We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0 -
I have been with Kleenze for 6 years. We joined when my wif was made redundant. We wnated to earn £400 a month, we retail and we have a small team and we earn approx £800 a month. It DOES work but some people are just to lazy and want a fast buck. It's not going to happen..... unless you are highly motivated by debt etc.
I always tell new people who show an interest that they need to work hard in the early days - like an appreticeship. After 6 months most people know what they need to do. I don't want to encourage people to join through rose tinted glasses. I always use the motto - 1 volunteer is better than 10 pressed men. If people know they are going to get wet, lose some catalogues, not always get orders and come along some VERY rude residents then they are prepared.
Kleeneze is what you make of it, we have made a success of it at the level we require, quitters have got what they want to. Not everyone is suited to running their own life and they need to be with the 'flock'......BAAAAAAAAAAAA0 -
I appreciate that you only get what you put in but the way agents work is not conducive to earning fairly.
I tried kleeneze two years ago and put in excessive work but with too many agents working one area it is hard to get orders. I also had to deal with another agent collecting in MY BOOKS meaning my orders were stolen and also I had to keep replacing books. When I finally found enough evidence that he was doing this my upline said "we all have to do what we can to stay afloat". It was at that stage I said goodbye.
This is a fine business opportunity but only if no/few other agents are working in your area otherwise you have no chance!:j Member Number 18 of the "100 free films in London in 2010" club:hello:0
