Received a CCJ claim from BW legal for a parking ticket

Dont contact BW
It will cost them £100 to get it unstayed
I doubt they will pay.
I think after 6 months you can ask the court to dismiss the claim as the claimant has clearly no intention of continuing.0 -
many thanks for both replys, i am not going to contact them in any instance and will let it run its course,
I am in the process of drafting the defences for the 2 newest claims and will post when complete for further scrutiny from everyone before sending to the court, thanks so much everyone for your help, it has made me feel empowered to think these scammers can be played at there own game and hopefully beaten, I look forward to reading the outcome of tomorrows reading in the lords also.0 -
HI,
A further update on my current situation,
I am still finalizing my recent 2 defences to fight claims brought by BW legal on behalf on NTC Ltd,
I have received through the post on Saturday 25th, a letter of claim from company DCB Legal Ltd,
They claim to act on behalf of DCBL in respect of a debt due under "AN AGREEMENT" between me and NTC Ltd.
Basis of Claim:
you enter into an agreement with NTC under reference 406124.
In accordance with the terms of that agreement and previous correspondence sent to you, there remains a balance outstanding. in light of the supporting evidence, correspondence and invoices, you are liable for the sum.
the amount they are trying to claim is around £3000 with the interest, apparently.
to ensure no action, please pay now!
this is the bit i need advise on also:
You are expected to acknowledge this letter of claim and pay the debt in full within 30days of the date of this letter, failure to do so will result in a claim being issued against you WITHOUT further notice.
Can i ask why i have received this and what they are playing at considering i have alreadey received 3 claims form from the northampton court for all these tickets, 1 case is stayed, the other 2 i am about to submit defences for,
Is there any reply i can send to them to let them know they do not scare me and i will fight this until the last possible moment and will see them in court,
How dare can they claim i owe them nearly £3000 for this so called debt.
Many thanks.0 -
So no answer yet to the question asked in post #18 - over two weeks ago?
I really hope you have done the Acknowledgement of Service for your two most recent Claims?0 -
Hi Kieth,
My apologies if i did not answer the question directly,
The claim dates were 7th and 9th of January,
I have completed the AOS for botrh of these and currently drafting both my defences.
Why do you think they would send a baliff letter for all monies claimed that i owe knowing the court has already sent me claim letters,
Is this just another attempt to make me think i owe them and that i might be stupid enough to pay up??0 -
I now see that you did answer the question on your other thread.
Why are you trying to progress these issues of two threads?
I see you reason why on your other thread, but how come today you have updated both threads with exactly the same post?
Too muddled for me, I'm afraid.0 -
Just ignore them> there will be a section stating this is not subject to bailiff action.0

HI Kieth,
I am fairly new to this and not up to scratch with the complete etiquette. i posted on both as i am not sure people still reply to old threads. i now see that they do and will try to keep all future communication to the one thread.
thanks0 -
they just state if i ignore they may bring court proceedings agasinst me,
I already have court proceedings against me so what are they trying to achieve0
