Received a CCJ claim from BW legal for a parking ticket

HI Coupon Mad, Thanks for your reply again,
So this morning i was in court, BW's rep was late again but did finally turn up,
The judge then spent a good 30-40 mins trying to extract the pitiful excuse of why they did not show up last time and basically all he could do was blame their clerk for not putting it in someones diary, the judge then also had a go at them for filing the appeal request a day late, ( their idiocy knows no bounds). Any how after much talk and only 1 nervous response from myself the judge then spent 30 mins summerising the overall case and awarded again in my favour, 1 of their reasons for bringing the appeal back was they felt they had a good chance of winning and after my nervous fairly silent display and only relying now on Primacy of contract, i felt that based on the evidence at hand they most likely would have won if they had of turned up the first time, as the judge was going through the summery i felt i was done for and then she again went back to the fact they did not turn up the first time and had no really good reason for it other than they are totally incompatant, i was more lenient this time with them and asked for ~£20 cost, £5 for parkingand £15 for fuel. their rep tried to argue i should not get this as by winning i had already saved myself nearly £3000 in fines however the judge was happy to award it,
All in all i am glad it is over and have to thank everyone who has helped me with this as without you i would never had been able to do it, i am glad these scammers got a beating again however i do feel they are winning the war in the long run, i have been paying my permit cost for me and my girlfriend for a while as she could not handle getting tickets and although i have always known these people are scammers, after 16 tickets i felt i could not keep getting them and complied, also my argument of primacy of contract was very weak in this case as my tenacy never actually designatede a particul spot to me therefore does not give me an overiding entitlement to park, (as the judge put it) i jusdt feel very lucky judge walden smith was reasonable and also they did not turn up the first time,
Without everyones help however i would have not had the confidence to fight them and may not have turned up either which would have cost me the win, i will be eternally grateful to all of you, thanks again.0 -
Well done, another whooping for BWLegal:j
i felt i was done for and then she again went back to the fact they did not turn up the first time and had no really good reason for it other than they are totally incompatant, i was more lenient this time with them and asked for ~£20 cost, £5 for parking and £15 for fuel. their rep tried to argue i should not get this as by winning i had already saved myself nearly £3000 in fines however the judge was happy to award it,
Totally incompetent ??? ..... of course she was right
saved myself nearly £3000 in fines said the rep ??
FROM FAKE CLAIMS THEY MUST MEAN
BWLegal are getting a bad name in the courts, they should really revert back to chasing gas bills as they are out of their depth in the parking scam0 -
