Received a CCJ claim from BW legal for a parking ticket

You can claim costs for the appeal. Same deal as for the original hearing. You can also go for unreasonable behaviour, just have a look around for this.

Thanks BeamerGuy, I cant wait to give them another spanking and dont want to be greedy but want them to realize ( from their pocket) how stupid it was to try and bring it back before the courts. what is a reasonable amount i should try to claim.

CPR27.14(2)(g) is what lets you claim costs for unreasonable behaviour. Lots of words out there for you.

What have they said in their appeal, and is this hearing just a response to their N244 to decide in half an hour or so, if they actually have any grounds? i.e. not the actual hearing of the appeal unless the Judge has set aside over an hour or so?

HI All,


So i have their appeal hearing on Monday and received through the post on Wednesday a huge folder of all documents straight from the BW Legel wasters, i was not aware i needed to file anything with the court this time round or with them, is this going to affect me when i get to court Monday morning,


I am assuming the courts will no longer have my first folder i sent them months ago,

Update Sept:

The Scammers have decided to appeal and take me back to court, Can i please ask for some advise on my best course of action, I will of course be attending and will bring my original evidence and other documents,

1, can i add new info?

2. will they bring new info?

3. as they have already paid me for the last time and the money has been spent, is it wise to counter sue them this time to make them pay for for the continued hassle and stress this is causing me??

Please show us the pleadings you have received from them for the appeal, even if it takes a fair bit of scanning and put it in Dropbox or use IMGUR so we can see it in Saturday and give you some guidance in readiness.
