Hi everyone,
Get well soon CCL xx
Hugs to all other poorlies and those that need one.
NSD today. I asked DS1 to pick up milk yesterday - could've kicked myself for not getting it with the big shop on Saturday - schoolgirl error.
Dinner tonight was SW chicken, potato and kale bake - lush.
NSD 7/15. No spending today.
Haven't managed my 10k steps today as was weather was too grotty to get out at lunch and I didn't need anything anyway. Spent a lot of time at my desk today doing random admin urgh.
Christmas - will be suggesting inlaws come to us on Sunday 23 Dec - normally have them on Christmas Eve but I will be working this year. Ordered a couple of bits from Deb'nams but was home too late to go collect them. Hopefully tomorrow after work.
Have a good evening all,

Generally the same. Not feeling great but continuing to make slow progress with tidying, sorting and sewing.
Ate most of the edible stuff from the fridge yesterday. I now have eggs in the fridge (lots of eggs), the freezer has been stripped of everything but fish and veg and some staples have run out.
Plodding is the order of the day. Need to start building structure again and continue to simplify, reduce and clean.
Today I am grateful for my bed, for good reading material and for the birds (today's entertainment has been watching successive flights of birds gather and then head south). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Challenge: I aim to lose 3lbs this month. It will be good to be accountable here! Lost 1lb so far.
Organise: Will take stock take of food in cupboards, fridge and freezer. This should help with my MFW challenge too.
Budget Items: I do know my expenditure for October, but do need to figure out those regular annual costs and fees which like to surprise me every year! No progress yet.
No Spend Days: 10/15
Improvise: Located coat buttons which I hope to sew on this week.
Exercise: Aim to complete 5 cycling sportives in October, four of which must be free (won two in a competition) and one of which must be self-guided and in a new location. Have completed one - four to go! Took two pooches out for a walk nearby. Plus on my feet for 6.5 hours - paced up and down to build up my steps.
Don't Be A Martyr For Christmas: Researched options for Mum’s gift. Also learned today that contractors will get both Xmas Eve and New Years off work and paid. Sooo happy about this!
Extra Income: Total sales for Oct: £72.95. Completed another YouGov survey and submitters some friend referrals for same.[IO BTL1 Mortgage was £97,693.54 on 09/08/18; £83,140 on 31/12/19.Sealed Pot Challenge 12: #078: £150.36

Hi all :j
Wishing all turtle poorlies more health this week...hope you're soon better folks.
Challenge: Oops forgot this one yesterday! Don't smoke & rarely drink either, so it has to be giving up unhealthy snacks. Snacks mainly healthy today, fruit & nuts..
No Spend Challenge: Do like the sound of this but do my shopping on Tuesday, I could prep by shopping at the weekend but hate going then & never do if humanly possible to avoid....hmm will have to ponder. Will make an exception for Tuesday & try for a 6 day week..
Organise. Start as you mean to go on. Know the contents of your fridge, freezer and cupboards. Plan your meals around them. Cook from scratch. Don't buy anything you can make unless cost /time taken dictates otherwise. If you are new to turtle challenges or still have full cupboards you could try living from the cupboards. Lunch from stores, also supper. No shopping needed.
Regular budget items should be set by 1st October. If you don't know how much you are spending on food or petrol, now is the time to find out. Question every purchase - need or want? No purchases today.
No Spend Days. Aim for 20 (high target) or 15 (low). Am aiming for 15 but hoping for more. Now 10/15.
Improvise. Make do and mend with a creative twist. think of a substitute ingredient, how to make an old/broken piece of furniture last a little longer. Friend came round and fixed tap - yaay. He also left us with 2 extra spare parts, so 2 more taps can be mended when the time comes. He's bought these things himself, drove all the way over here & fitted it. And he won't take any cash either. Shall have to get him extra for Christmas.
Exercise Four times a week at least (20 minutes minimum but can be done 10 minutes at a time). Get outside in daylight as often as possible. Later on decided to go outside & spent an hour pulling brambles from out of the border & taking them into the back bit of garden for disposal. Back bit now full.
Christmas More knitting for sock presents.
Banned Will only be chippys normally with the odd takeaway planned for a celebration etc. No takeaways today.
Extra Income and Extra time Up early to take kitty for his op. DH went back to bed when he got back, I stayed up & did some housework....pleased that I got more done. At CS tomorrow & then to pick up some furniture..
Report in, daily if possible I'm here..

Didn't post last night as I was knackered - no reason for it either as I had a great sleep on Sunday night! Yesterday wasn't a NSD, a colleague and I bought lunch, which was planned, so I spent about £10 and still have some left over for lunch today. Working from home for the next three days so that helps save petrol money and gives me time to go to the gym at lunchtime.
Handed my notice in at work yesterday, couldnt have come a moment too soon as we had a meeting about a massive change coming up. I know they say nobody likes change but senior management are treating staff worse than primary kids and not trusting us to manage our time and workload efficiently. I'm under no illusions that my new job won't be perfect but it's got to be better than this!0 -
Quick post to report 8 NSDs & today should be number 9. Ive just cashed out a £10 SB voucher and will save it towards Christmas presents.0

Hi everyone
NSDs I have no spent anything yesterday or today so that's 2 NSDs for me. I dropped off 2 bags of stuff to the charity shop and didn't even have a look as I was so determined not to spend anything :j
EXERCISE Yesterday I did Rosemary Connelly dvd and today I went walking for an hour after lunch. I did start raining which was a pity.
EXTRA INCOME Not really income but I thought I owed the window cleaner £10 and I only had to pay £5 so an extra £5 for my Christmas tin.
CHRISTMAS I was in Wilkos on Saturday ( a shop I'm never in) and was amazed at the choice and prices. I saw lots to buy for Christmas but especially loved the tubes of PINK SMARTIES for my dgd. I will definitely visit again when I have more money next month

Hello
Another nsd today - still skint, and also still unwell. My sinuses are blocked and even the Sudafed isn't helping. I just want to be asleep at the moment. 3 more get ups though, can I make it?
Nothing mse going on - in fact I'm wracking the solicitor's bill up and up and up. It makes me want to cry thinking about that, but it is a necessary evil and a constant reminder of what a fool I was to ever get married to someone that didn't love me. Ah well. You can't put a price on freedom :rotfl:Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Challenge – Do more self-care. Still doing my 365 days of self care journal and 365 tiny love challenges. Did not have enough energy to do a lot today. Having issues with sleep and having mixed up dreams this week. Had a relaxing this evening.
Organise. This I must to. Used what I had in. Went to 2 locations to recycle some things that cannot go into the communal recycling bin.
No Spend Days 14/20 Was an NSD.
Exercise Walked to gp from bus stop and went through the park on the way on. Had to put a prescription in for my antidepressants.
Christmas This is already sorted. Have put money into a savings account each month for the year. Immediate family all get money. Christmas will be a difficult time for me so I will concentrate on self-care. Will decide after 2nd December - my Mum's first anniversary of her death.
Banned - Not needed today.
Extra Income No surveys done today.
