    Evening all!

Well, what an evening that was....got in from wo*k, decided I needed a lie down for five minutes....fell asleep and woke up around five hours later. Bah!! So no housework done. Still tomorrow is my late shift, so my cunning plan is to do a bit of reading tonight, have some more zzzzzzs, and do some tidying and cleaning in the morning. What could go wrong with that simple plan?

Shez...I can't stand my fan oven...though I am slowly working out that putting the temperature down by more than 10degrees...more like 20 or 30 and then giving it about nine tenths of the original cooking time sometimes gives a reasonably satisfactory result. I really wish I had gone for an ordinary non-fan-assisted oven, at least it's possible to follow the timings and temperatures in recipes with the expectation of success!

LittleMissKitKat...congratulations...a little Bite Size Kit Kat, woo hooo!!!

How long have you got, and where would you like me to start:D :D

You must have needed the sleep, Snowy, but it'll play hell with your sleep pattern. Never mind, the housework won't go anywhere, and if my experience is anything to go by, the housework fairies will have lost your address along with mine:rolleyes:

The biggest pain with the fan oven is the ridiculously small size of bakeware they say you can use. That and the fact it's too fierce, too fast, noisy.........do you get the impression I'm not overly keen:rotfl: Still it beats not having a working oven, that I can testify to.

Huge congratulations LittleMissKitKat :T :T :T Take it easy, the early pregnancy really is the most tiring part.

Wot wot wot!!??!! This is news to me. Shez, did you know about there being some sort of restriction on the size of bakeware in a fan oven? Churchie, please let us have some of your sage knowledge and advice....:rotfl:

Look in your instructions Snowy and somewhere it'll tell you the maximum size of baking tin/sheet you can use. If you can't find it I can tell you it will be smaller than anything you currently use:rotfl: :rotfl: I just use the bigger ones, and am then told this is why it doesn't cook properly. I call that a poor excuse:rolleyes: They say it's because it stops the air circulating properly. Oh and did you know you're not supposed to put anything on the bottom of the oven for the same reason? Doesn't stop me!!:o :rotfl: Maybe I should stop blaming the oven............
