Hope those of you who are feeling rough get better soon.

Have been up since 4.30 writing an essay. Has to be done by tomorrow as I start nights. Find this is the best time to think and also I can't do anything else for fear of waking people up. Glad other people are insomniacs as well. I go through periods of it. Have learned to live with it as nothing else seems to work apart from Zopiclone and that only works for about three months and makes me feel dreadful the next day!

Had a nice weekend. Saturday cleaned the house and ironed and took our Son to a boot fair. He got loads of things with his pocket money. I got two M&S tops for £2. Don't look like they've been worn. Went to a bonfire party at my neighbours on Sat night, we all chip in and buy fireworks and cook something.

Yesterday was my birthday. Have some money to spend on clothes which is lovely.

Today we are going down to the seafront to see fireworks. Shall go down just before it starts to avois the funfair.

Have a lovely day all. xxxxxx:A

Amie, hope you win, i don't think I could stay up all night if the prize was Johnny Depp :D
Mrs Mix, well done on your win, meals for a month, I would put on stones

I've decided I have officially turned into a middle-aged grump due to the fireworks that seem to have been going off for weeks. My poor dog has almost barked himself hoarse.

Mioliere, thanks for telling me who went out in Strictly, I forgot to watch, poor Dom, he was getting so much better, but then Kate was brilliant on Saturday, she was so much better than last week. Sad but I'm really looking forward to I'm a Celebrity, I know, I need to get a life :p

Hope everyone has a good day, :grouphug: to anyone not feeling 100%

    Morning All

(((hugs))) to those under the weather.
    Belated Happy Birthday to Jannyannie

Had a good day at Brands Hatch yesterday, the weather was amazing. Felt completely exhausted when we got home so watched Strictly Come Dancing and Top Gear then had an early night.

Today will spend a little time in the office, some housework then will clear the ironing - not too much there.

Forgot to get the chicken out of the freezer for tonights dinner so need to look at my menu plan and have a change around.

Off now for a surf whilst I finish my coffee.

    Have a great day.

DLB - yes the fan oven will make a difference - you will need to shorten the cooking times and temperature slightly. Cant remember exactly but I usually check the food 5 mins before the normal cooking time and about 10 degrees lower. Every oven is different though.

yes - you either have to adjust the temperature or the time when cooking as everything cooks so fast!!! Ive had mine for 5 years and I'm still getting used to it!

    Morning all :hello:

I'm freeeeeeeezing. It was foggy and very cold yesterday, I was snuggled in front of the fire for most of the day :D I was asleep by 9.30pm, wide awake by 11.15pm, dropped back off at about 3am then up at 6.30am, I'm very tired

I usually have my day planned out by this time but what with no heating and no hot water and very little sleep, I've written today off  :rotfl:

At least the shower is electric, I couldn't face a cold shower  :D

    Good morning everyone,

Not read the thread yet, so hope everyone is ok, ((HUGS)) to anyone who would like/needs one.

Not here for long, as waiting for the LO to get here, and then need to get my 2 to school. We need to walk as im running short of petrol, and no money to get any at the mo - but the walk will do us good!!!

Nothing much happening (or happened at the weekend), will be doing some cleaning, and maybe some baking today - thinking about getting a stew on in the SC, using the rest of yesterdays roast chicken - and need to get the BM and WM on, so think i will do that now!!

    Have a lovely day everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
