In simple terms how could i use via xs at a store till-will i need to look into face i.d. +swipe up to pay-that's one of my concerns.
Hope you enjoy iPhone X I haven;'t got to look at one yet apart from online
you double click the side button on the right of phone and it brings up all your cards assigned to apply pay and you just choose the card and face id then is engaged.
**sorry face id will work right away with the top card and if you don't want to pay with that card you of course can choose another card if you have one. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

what arguments?
I like Apple products and don't claim them to be better than android or any other manufacturer. They make good products just like Google, Samsung and the up and coming Chinese phone companies. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I got a Motorola phone for £130. Made by Lenovo. When I was at work someone was doing a crossword and wanted to know what a word meant. I just said "OK Google" and asked the question. The answer was perfect and I thanked her and had a bit of small talk. Suddenly all these people around were shouting Hi Siri at their phones but none of them were working. I couldn't believe how much better my cheap phone was in comparison with the iPhones costing at least four times as much.0

It's supply and demand in action. If enough buyers with enough money decide to pay £1.5K for a product, that creates a supply. I don't have any jealousy about those people, good luck to them! But I get by with my original Wileyfox Swift, which has given me what I want from a phone for 3 years. However, if I win the Lottery I would just swap it for a better Wileyfox.
Top adopters with money, drive all purchases and create a trickle down effect.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

started this thread as i couldn't believe apple could charge £1.5K (couldn't believe it last year either at £1k) for a phone and wanted to see if anyone (john22) could defend the undefencible
it's not a work of art, a ferrari or anything special in the phone market but some how has a price tag 3 x more than it should due to the fact that people are hooked on the UI, the snobbery attached to apple products (asked a girl once if she was apple or android, she looked at me as if i had just slaughted her whole family with a chainsaw and a bloke who said he didn't know anyone that had a android phone) and the fact you can pay for it monthly
having used it today and knowing what i do about all makes of phones i can honestly say i would not pay more than £500 for it. good luck to all those that do"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0 -
Would be scared of dropping it or Some yob snatching it, on their scooter for a start? (moped muggers!)

No one has to defend anything it’s individuals preference to what they want to buy. I’ve learned over the years that it’s ok for others to be different and buy the things they like. When I see people use products that I don’t use I don’t feel the need for them to defend or argue why they bought it. I feel like I could put up a list of reasons why people buy Apple products or give the background story as to why I buy Apple products over the years but you would still not be won over which is ok.
Enjoy whatever smartphone that brings a pleasurable experience at a price you’re willing to pay and let others do the same. :beer:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
