Hopefully not much longer now, Covid hasn't helped but yeah it's a really agonising wait regardless!Gemsi84 said:
It’s been just over 4 weeks now. I know that’s not that long considering but it’s such a horrible wait isn’t it!Reece24 said:
That's annoying , how long has it been now?Gemsi84 said:Still nothing from Pepper, apart from asking for more info!!
We have our offer but they seem to of misunderstood who was gifting me and my partner some of our deposit, sorted now but still was a bit frustrating. How annoying- glad you’ve got it sorted now. How long until you move?
Shouldn't be much longer, sellers solicitor are just resolving an issue with a small unregistered square piece of land at the bottom of the rear garden but once done hopefully should be in a position to exchange.1 -
Best of luck, hope things go quickly for you now!1

Our application has been in since 17th June. Broker has advised last week should all be ok just waiting for the valuation. We have our own homebuyers survey booked for Thursday. Do you know how long it takes to get the valuation done these days with pepper?0

Our valuation was carried out on the 05/06, they asked a couple of small questions, mortgage was then offered on the 22/06 so wasn't to bad considering a probable back log of cases.johnm251188 said:Our application has been in since 17th June. Thanks, I guess it’s back to chasing the broker then for an update. Good luck with your house moveReece24 said:

Hi guys, so have heard from the broker today- they need 2 more documents then we are at valuation stage. Once at valuation stage does that mean they are happy to lend us the money? Or is there still credit checks etc to do?0
-
Yes that usually means you should get an offer as long as they are happy with the valuation. Our broker has advised today that the estate agent should be getting a call in a few days to book the valuation. I’d keep chasing your broker and ask for an update once you have sent them the docs they have asked for. I have seen other comments saying that even after offer they can still do further checks to make sure you haven’t taken new credit out etc... I would play things safe whilst applying and not do anything crazy like applying for loans, car, credit card etc until you’ve completed on the houseGemsi84 said:Hi guys, so have heard from the broker today- they need 2 more documents then we are at valuation stage. Our valuation took place after all the documents were sent etc so does seem they wouldn't instruct unless they were relatively happy, they did ask a couple more questions after valuation but no documents were needed and they were happy after we answered.
All in all sounds like once your valuation comes back and hopefully there's no issues, you should get your offer!0
