We did and they were totally fine. Like I say, they have never caused us any issues we were so grateful they were able to help us
Good to hear, glad they we're good for you, thank you for that!

Valuation came back all ok. Mortgage broker has asked for latest payslip to show not furloughed which has been sent. They said to expect a pre offer call. Should have asked the broker but do both me and my partner get a call or is it just 1 call?.

    Hi all,
Jist to keep you updated, we had to send off company accounts yesterday, and today, after refunding our valuation fee and declining us last week, they have asked us to re send the valuation fee... I’m taking this as a good sign?!

My partner had a call but missed it then they rang me and I confirmed some info and that was it, so as long as they speak to either of you then it should be fine.

I’d say it looks to be good after that! Hopefully not much longer now.

Thankfully they extended our offer, only a months extension but a huge relief.. How is everyone else getting on?

We are finally at valuation stage! Think they have booked it for tomorrow but will be confirmed today. Glad you got your offer extended!

we have just received our mortgage offer this morning via email from our broker. very pleased to say the least
our offer is valid until 4th November so thats 90 days for anyone who might be wondering.

Here's a quick timeline for anyone who might be applying for a mortgage with them in the future (this will obviously vary case by case but i wanted to give people an indication of timescale especially with covid at the minute:
    17th June - application submitted
23rd June - various additional docs and information requested
    27th July - Valuation booked
29th July - Valuation carried out
30th July - Copy of valuation report sent
31st July - Copy of latest payslip requested (to show we haven't been on Furlough)
6th August - Pepper called to check the correct direct debit details and date to be taken out, loan amount, address ect..
7th August - emailed copy of Mortgage offer received from broker.
so in all its taken 7 weeks from application to offer.
