Hello,
Mixed weekend, spend too much, drank too much
and didn't do enough. Saturday was a good busy day but lazy Sundays just don't work any more. Woke up this morning to and untidy house, dirty dishes, no dinner prepped, no ironing or washing done etc etc. And overslept so hardly any time this morning to do some off it. Arggghhhh :eek::eek:
Oh, well, the week can only get better. Onwards and upwards as NSK used to say.
Looking fwd to Friday, have a babysitter and will go the opening of the new V&A. Will not drink though as our babysitter is 84 year old FIL so I'd rather be back by ten and with it.
Will drag myself to the gym at lunch and luckily got a healthy lunch and no wallet, so this day can be saved yetDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Quick update
Budget – On track updating daily with expenses. Positive week, low spending!
Use up – Hardily bought anything for lunch for this week as I had most things in the cupboard! I had cooked to much Bolognese few weeks ago and frozen some bags of it. Completely forgot! De frosted a bag last night and had it with some pasta for lunch today. The rest of the weeks lunch will be made up of stuff I already have! (tuna salad for tomorrow)
NSDs – So far, so good! NSD 9 today.
Spread some sunshine – Took Mr out for tea
Healthy eating – Hmmm… not doing too bad. Still snacking! Still craving the sweet stuff. I made sure I didn’t buy any sugar items this week, no temptation!
Invest in yourself – Still need to get more sleep, plan is to read for at least an hour a night before bed.
No spending – Had a quiet weekend which meant little spending!
Exercise – Been out for a walk but the weather has been terrible recently. Looking at doing some classes this week.Debt Free Diary..."Start of a new chapter"

No spending on takeaways, drinks out, etc unless prearranged and budgeted for. Try to find free activities to do. - Have a social budget
Exercise [/COLOR] Rubbish weekend - lots of time in car/ spent sat listening to talks/ cooking dinner yesterday - hardly any steps and no other exercise.
Because our plans have changed so quickly this month, money is almost leaking out everywhere and budgets will need re-doing as we'll have 2 at uni and only 2 left at home. Afternoon All
Feeling really, really tired. Had a sleepless night last night. For the last week or so I've had a rash on both arms but it really flared up last night. This morning both arms were really red and itchy so trip to the docs. Apparently I now have eczema to add to the hayfever and asthma. Lots of different types of cream which will hopefully sort it out.
We were supposed to have lunch out today but I had to cancel because it clashed with the doctors appointment. Still on the positive side we used up some food from the freezer for lunch and we're having some more for dinner.
Whilst I was waiting in the chemist I bought some small toiletries that we will need for our holiday. Unfortunately we don't have room in our luggage to carry a lot of full size stuff. So not a NSD but we would have needed to buy them at some point anyway.
So just now I'm having a cuppa and watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hi all,
It's my birthday today and I also started a new job. Felt a bit !!!!!! off this morning as DD went off to school and shouted bye up the stairs, no birthday wishes. DS1 and DS2 did say it but had to ask DH if he was going to wish me HB as by this time he had made his breakfast, eaten it and read the news app. So fed up.
Not going out for dinner as have already spent too much this month and I just can't justify it. Meatballs and spaghetti it is. Mine will be SW. Sorry for the mardy post!
Only spending today was on weekly ticket (£50.40) plus needed to break up a tenner as desperate for the loo before work and had to pay to use the loos at the station - 30p spent on that, but given it was for a basic human need I'm counting today as NSD.
Have a good evening all,
