First day back from sick leave today and was working from home which was a bonus, took it easy and caught up with everything. Nothing major which is good. It was nice working from home, got to listen to music all day and watch bakeoff during lunch :j another NSD chalked up, now time for an early night!0

Evening everyone - crazy busy at work at the moment and I've spent time prepping for my baking (i sell stuff at our local country market)
Set: all DD have gone out now, and I have a meal plan usin`g lots of yellow sticker stuff.
Use up - lunch was frdige scrapings salad and dinner fish cakes made from left over salmon and mash potatoes - yummy
NSD - yesterday was one so that's 2/15
Spreading sunshine - I've tried to be super positive and helpful today at work and really look for `the good in people. I'm needing the patience of a saint though.
Healthy eating. Mmmm, a mixture. I've eaten really healthy salads and veg and fruit but then also eaten a ton of chocolate. Would love to go back to slimming world but its expensive
Invest in yourself. Spent a while this morning adjusting some trousers which didn'`t fit quite right so I have some free 'new' trousers that make me feel good about myself
No takeaways here
Exercise - walked to work but it's barely 10 minutes so a poor effort.
Onward and upwardsTrying to keep in budget.

Hi all:j
Congratulations to Coxy & Dolly on the new jobs!!
Had to go out & do small shop today as I didn't get to do it yesterday, and had to drop car off to be checked out, so no NSD for me today again. Car needs a repair that will be £250, but considering its age that's not so bad. Hopefully will be ready by the weekend, otherwise will be going to the meal with snobby cousins family in 15 year old car :rotfl: - as opposed to 'new' 11 year old one..
Set your budgets now. Pay to your debts/savings first and live off the rest. Make sure you're on the best deals for utilities, phones, broadband, etc. Are there any areas in your budget that you could cut down on? Hopefully lack of a DW will lead to smaller water bills....that's the dream..
Use up. Have a look through your cupboards and identify any food that's been lurking there for a while and incorporate it into a meal plan. Likewise toiletries, any half opened bottles - use before opening/buying more. Used up YS burger for DH & remains of HM burger mix for me, also cut off sprouts on spuds & made chips in actifry.
Lots of eggs so poached egg on toast for lunch..
NSDs - there are 30 days in September so a minimum of 15 or 20 for a harder challenge. Usual exemptions for ys items, petrol and medical expenses. Still 2/15
Spread some sunshine - be kind to others, help out friends, neighbours, colleagues and strangers. Share your tales of any random acts of kindness. Gave my trolley pound to the homeless lady selling the BI.
Healthy eating - up your fruit and veg intake, quit snacking between meals or choose healthier options. DD gutted that the left over Danish were safely frozen & not available for breakfast, so she had a healthier option. Meals not too bad but could (as ever) do better.
Invest in yourself. Make sure you take the time to do things that you enjoy. Try something new that you've always wanted to do. Friend came round as usual on a Wed afternoon & helped me with outfit choice for Saturday. She didn't pick the one I thought she would, but will try on all the options - and then pick the best one for me.
No spending on takeaways, drinks out, etc unless prearranged and budgeted for. No takeaways today.
Try to find free activities to do. Will do.
Exercise - it won't be long before the darker nights start drawing in so make the most of it while you can. Get outdoors for walk/run/cycle even if only for 10 minutes. Got out before lunch & put first coat of paint on about half of wall that I prepped the other day. Not gardening but progress towards finishing a job that needs doing before winter
go Turtles!!New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -
NSD 3/20 yesterday
Today is a planned spend day or I will be tearing out my hair, stripping naked, and running, screaming, up and down the pedestrianised shopping area, punching squirrels. ie we need milk and hummus and screenwash. That is about it really. Very small shopping list, less than £10. but feeling really annoyed about it. The thing with kids is, if it is there, they will eat it until it isn't there, and then be surprised it has gone.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi everyone,
So yesterday was my first NSD. So 1/10. I also consumed a good bit of fruit with my lunch so was happy with that.
Didnt look after myself yesterday though as i had to stay uo late catching up with work. Going to try and put some me time in tonight but it depends as my mother in law is coming over tonight from Spain i cant wait! Today wont be a NSD either as i didnt have time to prephare lunch this morning. Would be good if I could find YS food items but will see what happens I should at least be able to add fruit into my lunch however.Earnings since March 2014.

Thanks for the congratulations.
apple - I won't do any exercise on my two full working days, I will cycle or run on my days off and run in the evening on my short day plus the usual weekend run and cycle so I think I will keep my fitness levels where they are. I have worked very hard to get fit and if I don't keep at it I lose it but it will do me good to have two rest days at least.
f0xh0les - I hope the squirrels are safe today.
Plan for today is ironing, dog walking, cleaning, making vegan shepherds pie for tea, school run and running.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

WELL DONE ON THE NEW JOBS GUYS!! :T:T:T:T:T
Set Budgets- So I have £80 left :however I have budgeted everything I can think of and have £350 in savings. Just trying to keep away from it as much as poss. Hoping to not spend anything until Sunday at least.
Use up- Lunch is beans on toast made with the seeded bread I have had hanging about in my freezer for a while. Tonight I will be making something with eggs to get through our ever growing pile!
NSD's 3/15. REALLY hoping to make 4 AT LEAST this week! would like 5 in the bag.
Spread some sunshine- I have started doing my brothers Xmas shopping, he hates doing it, I love it and everyone else benefits because they get more thoughtful gifts. Plus it's MSE because I get to keep the points I collect. (admin fee) Yesterday I took advantage of a deal on at boots , buy something from the mini club range and get the next thing half price, and I ended up getting my kids and nephew pj's and a dressing gown each , from him. Plus I got 750 points , woop woop. Eveyone's a winner baby...
Healthy Eating- bought a butternut squash at Aldi to make some lovely healthy soup with tonight.
Invest in Yourself- more yoga tonight.
No Spending on Take aways- only one planned
Excersize-Running again tonight.0 -
Today will be a spend day - it's the now annual pre-uni clothes shopping day. Thankfully DD lives in jeans, vests/ tshirts and hoodies, and likes H&M, so it's never too costly. Plus she has a 20 gift voucher and have several 'spend 25 and get 5 off' vouchers. Will see what we can do. Will also look for new school shirts for DS2 but I have a couple of M&S vouchers towards that :T As we are out and about (eventually.... she's still asleep at the mo!) I will see if we also have time to nip into Sainz (have list and a 12 off 60 spend voucher) and A5da (have a APG voucher and need a couple of replacement glasses after some breakages), although time may be against us. No doubt I'll end up buying her lunch - but it's likely just to be a big Cornish pasty, so not bank-breaking and all part of the mum-daughter time. Not sure if I'll see her before Xmas once she goes back later this month, so am making the most of it!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200
