Miss Giddychops would get on well with our Ginger cat - he broke into the cupboard where the dry food is once while we were out and we didn’t realise what had happened when we got back and so we gave him and his brother dinner as usual. Ginger cat tucked it away but strangely B&W cat wasn’t bothered! On investigating, they’d had at least a kilo between them and when you picked up Ginger cat, you could feel it in his stomach!
Art group and electric chair sound great for DD2. I completely understand where your husband is coming from about uni and DD1. It’s a complete shambles and so ill considered.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

So glad themadvix i'm not the only one with a greedy animal.
Not a bad day, popped to the allotment to get veggies for tea as my dad and his wife were coming over for lunchtea so that they could see DD1 before she goes to uni. Anybody would think she was moving to the other side of the world the amount of visits we've had or people wanting to see her before she goes. We havested several different types of pumpkins and squashes, french beans, potatoes, kale, cabbage, leeks, pears and broccoli. I used my new trailer to bring it all back, I encouraged the hubbster to come on his bike too as I would like to try and cut down on how much we rely on the cars. Apartly my trailer was weaving alot behind me and dad suggested the wheels maybe on the wrong way. I'm convinced he was having us on. The allotment is looking very weedy at the moment and really needs some TLC. Pigeons are sitting on the netting so that it rests on the veg and then helping themselves so we need to look at sourcing some new posts. Unfortunatly the potato fork snapped whilst up there and aparrently it was my fault because if I'd let the hubbster come in the car he would of brought his own rather than his dads.
It was my dad's wifes birthday so we had tea and cake to celebrate. We are on offical countdown to tueday and DD1 is about to begin bringing everything downstairs ready to start packing the car tomorrow. Other than that not alot to report except the hubbster has agreed to up our overpayment if his job is secure. Whoop whoop.
POSITIVES
1) Free food from the alloment
2) The hubbster has agreed to up the mortgage payments.
3)DD2 has learnt to use email.
Take care everyone

Mmmmmm just had s’mores but now stink of smoke. The last gcse books have been ceremonially burned. She has kept her A level stuff just in case. She has heard from one of her friends that she is now in lockdown at her uni, as someone in her accommodation has a high temp.🥺.CRx3

So much happening for you! Loving the allotment, DD2 and possible electrification of wheelchair, plus art class, plus email use (brill!) and I do feel sorry for DD1
it's all right for me to hang out at home so much, though even I am getting stir crazy - its a nightmare for teens and twenties, and actually 40s and under.

A day full of hospital appointments to look forward to. We have a hour and half In between so will probably come home for lunch. I would normally go and sit reception but unable to do that due to Covid. Then I’ve got to take DD1 shopping for fresh food ready for the big move tomorrow. Hoping to call at the bank to get some baggies as I’ve got loads of change I was saving. I was collecting 10p,20p, and 50p’s but all the shops are wanting you to use card. On the occasions I’ve used cash you’d think I was handing them a handful of 💩 . I prefer to use cash as it helps me to regulate how much cash I’m spending but virtual money is slippery and just wants to run through my fingers. Currently sat in the hospital car park waiting for them to phone to say we can go in😎.

Hope you didn't have to hang around for too long for the appointments. Hope DD1's move goes ok, really feel for students at the mo, the advice seems to be changing every couple of days.2

teapot2 we didn't have to wait too long thankfully. The a.m. appointment went really well and the physio is really pleased. However the p.m. appointment didn't go so well, they mentioned having a blood test today which resulted in a full blown teary meltdown. He's concerned she's not grown much since been on the current medication and other hormones haven't kicked in yet. I'm not personally too worried as I was 17 before my periods started and I'm only 5ft 2" her sister is only 5ft. Infact she comes from a long line of short ar2es on both sides of the family. DD2 is about 4ft 10" at the moment, plus she wasn't wearing the boots she normally wears so was shorter today anyway. Plus when they did blood tests last time all levels were as they should be.Insisted they wait until the next time we go (6 months) as they are putting her medication up this time and we will see what happens plus it will take me that long to convince her its for the best. Plus its not life threatening.
DD1 is trying to look on the bright side that if she gets covid whilst at uni at least she can quaratine there and not pass it onto her dad or grandparents. I thought this was a sensible way of looking at the chasos at the uni's at the moment. Her friend texted het to say the person with suspected covid has had it confirmed today they have it, so her friend is in lockdown for 2 weeks.
Had games night, but I think everyone was really tired and generally feeling very emotional. Car is packed, just need to load a few more bags, her bike and then we are ready to go in the morning. Roll on tomorrow, although this time tomorrow, I'll probably wished we'd had more time together.
POSITIVES
1)Physio has paid off - no operations or botox in DD2 legs needed at present
2) DD1 is trying to look on the bright side of what the first couple of months of uni will be like.
3) The hubbster has started sorting the garage and already took a car load of stuff that couldn't be sold/recycled/upcycled/gifted or donated to the tip.
Hoping for a decent night sleep before the 2hr car journey tomorrow.
Take care everyone

P.S. the toilet roll panic buying has commenced (not me as we get WGAC).

I hope it all goes really well for your whole family tomorrow, CR. Such an emotional time for everyone ... it must be so difficult.
