Afternoon all
Happykitties - take care, you don't sound at all well at the moment
1LuckyLady - your family are so lucky to have you to take care of them :A
Still thinking of Foxgloves
Well, it is wet and cold hereso much so that I have considered putting the heating on for a while :eek: In reality of course, I will simply find a thicker jumper :rotfl:
Lazy day today, made a small change to the decor in the lounge, which I am not sure about... Still not sure
No spends, except for some small business costs
An item sold on ebay, so I must look that out and pack it ready for posting Not done
Should really list some more things... Not done
We are having the other marrow /giant courgette for dinner, stuffed with the rest of the savoury mince stuff I made the day before yesterday Done, also used some French beans picked yesterday and some chopped swede from the freezer, made a nice dinner, lots of veg
Will round up some odd garden fruit / windfalls that are lying round the kitchen and conservatory, and make a crumble for pudding as my brother is coming for dinner, so we have a guest, right? (good excuse for a pudding) Done, made apple and quince crumble from windfalls
Must renew annual line rental saver thing for BT as it is cheaper than paying for it monthly (boring but necessary) Done, but it has gone up - again - £208.88 for the year :eek: Still, it is going up again in a few weeks and paying it in advance as opposed to monthly will avoid this, at least till next September, and you get a free month anyway by paying in advance. But this certainly put paid to my NSD
Must get off my backside and blitz the kitchen first!
Definitely lacking in motivation today -must be the weather.0 -
Lots of love to everyone, sounds like a difficult time for lots of us at the moment.
Foxgloves, thinking of you - hope you enjoyed the takeaway and are having lots of snuggles with the cat.
HK - hope you're ok, try not to overdo it if you're meant to be on bed rest.
1LL - hope your sister is on the mend soon.
I'm still spending money faster than I can earn it. If I EVER have the stupid idea of getting married again will someone please smack me? It's all great when it's all going well but jeez... I've spent more on the divorce than I did on the wedding (bitter and twisted? Me? Absolutely). On the plus side, we're all ready to enjoy our week away next week without worrying about school. Everything there is bought and sorted out. So tomorrow we are heading off to the Lakes until Friday and I am hoping for dry weather and lots of relaxation time.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

I will volunteer to smack you. :rotfl: Seriously, though, in time, this will be sorted.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
Hi August-Austerees,
Evening!:coffee: Had a good day today, money-wise:
Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Four:
THINGS I WILL DO:
* Check online banking. Done.
* Take medication. Forgot this morning.Done now.
* Turn alarm clock off at the wall til tonight. Done.
* Check loyalty points. Done.
* Do Sept financial planning. Done.
* Get some exercise. Finished my run-25-miles-in-August Challenge. Scraped together £3.30 from my purse for the ferry and ran up to the highest point on a nearby island, and then down again. It rained all the way but I did manage to forage a wee box of blackberries afterwards. Then came home and slept for 3 hours, so no spending there. Very good for my mental health; currently have a hint of panic disorder creeping in.
Things don't have to be perfect to be wonderful.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Please do - I feel like an idiot about the whole marriage/divorce thing most of the time to be honest, but it is very painful handing over hundreds of pounds at regular intervals after I worked so hard to get us out of debt the first time round.Not giving up
