Just to say I haven't abandoned the frugal cause. Am reading now & again but not posting, as I don't really have the heart for it just now. Mum is critically ill in intensive care & things are very very stressful.
Keep up the good work, everyone.

Thinking of you and your mum x
  • Thinking of you Foxgloves and sending lots of love.

I'm ok - thanks everyone who has asked. Very relieved about the exam results - better than we could have hoped (although me being a perfectionist still wanted better) and a massive improvement for the department. However, my adrenalin has all gone and I'm now just utterly exhausted.

Morning all :hello: Foxgloves sending love and hugs across the EM

    My things today:
Got half an avocado out of freezer for breakfast, will defrost in half an hour or so
Get something out of freezer for tea
    Pick some tomatoes
Read what to do with my raspberry canes now they have come to an end
Pick a material for a new sofa and then order it. Have money saved so no extra spend there.
    Meal plan for next week
    Go for a run
Got lots of stuff for charity shop, see if I can drop it off today.
Have a children's clothes sale in a few weeks, thought I had a box of out grown stuff in loft but couldn't find it yesterday, must check in garage.
See if I can get some of spare room stripped today, I really don't feel like doing much work if I'm honest :o
Go to library with the smalls

Should keep me going I think :D
