Been a very successful day in Villa Valli
Kitchen cleaned inc. windows.
Bathroom cleaned
Washing dried
Under-the-stairs emptied; my coats (I have two beige fleece jackets...who knew?) put to wash. Two already washed. Golf clubs I was ebaying many years ago gone to CS plus some other bits. Old PC gone, too.
I left all the coats out and DD has flung some - under-the-stairs looks MUCH better!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Evening all. Well done on your win Kaz, don't spend it all at once haha.
No flying done here today. Finally went to docs, then had to go to hospital. Now waiting results of tests but I do have strong painkillers so hopefully once I actually feel tired, I'll get a good nights sleep. I'm normally in bed around ten.
See you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning All,
Been up a while already so I am showered, put the WM on and done half an hour's worth of admin for DH business.
We are out most of the day today, so need to get organised. DS eating toast, DD still fast asleep.
I hope you all have lovely days xxMFW

Just put WM x3 on, DW running.
Will probably spend part of today admiring my streamlined under-the-stairs cupboard.
That's two 'cupboards from hell' dealt with in one week. Wooty wooty woot woot.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning all. Well done on the cupboard sorting Valli, mine are still staring at me when I open the doors, so no admiring will be done here.
Finally went to bed just before 1am, but not the most brilliant night. Will up the painkillers today.
I have errands to run today in York and a local village so flying will be limited although I have already cleaned the fridge.
One of the dogs has blood in her wee (I had to clean up when I got them up this morning) but I'm not sure which one as both seem perky now. Will have to keep an eye on them.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Well done Valli, I did my under stairs cupboard a couple of months ago, I still get things out when I need them and look and think 'wow that looks tidy'

Light drizzle here atm, so it is washing in the sand on my front drive, I think I might have to get another bags of sand and re do it next week.

I am following along but not having much time to post and seem t0 be adding extra flying in so i need to reassess my lists after i have done them!
The last few mornings i have done a paper list for me and the two kids. The boys have really enjoyed the structure and have raced through their lists. Nothing too major but it means their bedrooms are staying tidy even if the rest of the house is a tip.
Today we have been to a hospital appointment, done some shopping and been to laura ashley to look at wallpaper.
We had pretty much chosen our paper for the master bedroom (first time OH has let me wall.paper one of the walls!!!).
Someone had mentioned laura ashley and i saw that they had 40% off everything so I popped in as i was passing. Found a couple that i liked. Showed OH whilst he was work, he agreed so i went back and bought it.
It was heavily reduced- £40 a roll down to £12 so i was well chuffed. Gpt to the till and they took 40% off as well!!!! Bargain. Now jusy have to find the paint to match. That will be tomorrows job and ordering the carpet. On sunday we are hoping to paint the ceiling and hopefully get a coat on the walls. Im hoping it will be done in a couple of weeks. Woop woop- very exciting!!
Right. I have an hour so will-
Put dds clothes away.
Fold towels
Tidy kitchen

excellent bargain there Frizzle. And well done the Frizzle Boys.
Ironed ALL yesterdays and ALL todays - well pleased as there was a LOT, especially as I am finally taking my own list to heart and washing coats and jackets.
Vacuumed through then went to town. More flingage as I took a pair of 'wrong' glasses to the opticians for actionaid. And this morning more bits went to the CS.
Have prepped veg for tea for the Vallikids and stuck a jacket spud in for mine.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

*Healing vibes* for whatever ails you, Jazee.
Jojo, it sounds as though your OH's family are The Inertias. And of course they're quite wrong - the faster a stroke patient gets to hospital, the better their chance of a recovery. Dimwits, and cruel into the bargain.
Bargain, Frizzle! I love your Flykid's lists!That's two 'cupboards from hell' dealt with in one week. Wooty wooty woot woot.
Well done.
I've:
- WM x 1, pegged it out and it dried and just managed to snag it all back in as it started to drizzle;
- spring cleaned the bathroom at long last;
- done four hours at the voluntary thing;
- visited Messsrs A and L for bargainacious shopping for Sunday;
- roasted three chickens for same;
- baked two loads of bread and made two more;
- baked 10 red peppers and skinned them for a salad;
- medicated Kelpie on my own (he's very good about having his eyes done now, which is just as well as it's twice a day for life);
- bought handmade chox for OH as I've scoffed the last lot;
- swept and washed the kitchen floor and boy did it need it;
- watered the apple tree
- topped up the bird feeders
- walked Kelpie four times.
I've been flat out since 6.00 am this morning and this is the first time I've had a moment. I have a pile of washing to fold and loads more to put away but today has been a day of achieving things. I need to finish a few things off and then I'm stopping.Better is good enough.0
