Unexpected NSD for me yesterday, so NSD 9 is in the bag,

Nearly all school uniform sorted! yay!!!

A few courgettes are braving my neglect, and growing away happily in the yard.

Last full week of the holidays. They go back Wednesday week.

    Hi Everyone
Woke up this morning feeling decidedly ropey. No idea why - just didn't feel good at all. Had a lie in then got up and did the washing for the Boy. It's drying outside now. Had another wee lie down and am back up again getting dinner sorted out. Couldn't face the intended curry so we're having fish instead.
I suppose the positive is that I'm on NSD 14/15.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Aim Still on 3 NSDs - spent on my eyebrows, some g-pig food, a soap dish and a tea towel from Mata1an.

    Update (Budgets) done.

Get (prepared for Xmas) Some small bits purchased. Lists written

    Utilise - not really

    Share (money saving tips)

Treat (yourself) - had my eyebrows waxed and tinted today (last done in May 2017, so I'm not exactly high maintenance! :D)

Sorted out uniform for DS3 - have a small pile to take to school for their second hand rail now. Also have a pile of trousers from DS2 to take up for DS3 (when I say 'take up' I mean iron wundaaaaweb on them....:o:p) Need to check DS2's uniform, inc sports kit still. OH also needs to swap some socks I bought for DS3 (he can swap them as he works in a town, otherwise it means a drive and paying for parking for me to do it) Will aim to get it all sorted by this Fri. Mine don't go back to school until 4th and 5th Sept, but we're away next week (Mon-Thurs)

Hope you feel better soon, Toni'sfriend x

    Toni'sfriend - Hugs.
    NSD today - 16/20.
Did not venture out today. Had a very much rest after having busy last 3 days which were enjoyable.
Only did a few things around the flat and spoke to someone who I used to work with on the phone.
Going to chill out this evening.

Today I am grateful for having 2 more bags to take to the Sally Army, for finding a cardi for my mum, for tesc0 having the gf df nuggets we'd totally run out of, for dh doing a tip run, for swimming with dd, for dd liking her haircut from me (can't quite believe she still likes me to cut her hair!), for eating up some foods that wouldn't have lasted another day.

    Hi all :j

The flowers for August are the Gladioli and the Poppy which represents beauty, strength, love, marriage and family

Very quick check in from me as had really bad news today - DDs best friend she's known since she was 3 years old has committed suicide. She lives abroad although her & her husband are English they were married only 3 years ago. DD is devastated, we don't know any details. Her mother has flown out there, while her father stays to look after the animals - she was an only child.

    Aim for 15 NSD’s still 6/15.

    Update
(Budgets) – will keep receipts of all spends since back in the UK, at least for another month. Nothing today

Get (prepared for Xmas) – nothing today

Utilise (free activities in your area) - not today.

Share (money saving tips) – already done

Treat (yourself) – I would like everyone to budget £3 for a luxury item, I think this will be some Twinings, but will decide later

The challenge will run from 1st August 00:01 until 31st August 00:00.

    Go turtles!!!!!!

Don't knock Wunderweb - it is compulsory to hum the Wonderwoman tune when ironing Wunderweb, it makes it stick better. :rotfl:

Second hand rail sounds fab. I will steal that idea and put it in the suggestion box I suggested last term.

You broke up a week after us I think. It feels so wrong going back while it is still August. :(

    All on target. Within budget.

Booked kids back onto £1 a day football club. They wanted to go. They spend 2 hours running. There is less whining.

Treat yourself - found croissants in a tin in Her0n 3 for £1 - the kids are making me breakfast (mostly themselves though)

Tip: The croissant in a can cannot be frozen, however, if you take the dough out of the tin, shape it (or not) it can be frozen. But they are pretty long dated anyway. We just have a tiny fridge freezer because DH had one single job to do when we moved house....
