Parliament has apparently refused the no confidence vote. I'm not sure what that means since this is all new. Another contempt motion?

Adding the Managed bit is evidence (if somewhat late) that they have to prepare for the default exit.
There is growing evidence that the EU side are Managing their approach to this exit too.
It's pragmatic to do so from our side.
It doesn't rule out further trade talks after Mar 2019 of course. The door should always be open to improving relations in the future, and moving on from the bitterness currently there.0 -

As far as I can tell, all the bitterness is coming from the UK. Once we get over our superiority complex and start to engage the EU like adults, we should get something sorted pretty quickly0 -

Any sensible Government who were fully committed to Brexit would have been preparing this option from the start as a fallback plan B.0 -
