Not wishing to be rude, but I don’t think you’re clever enough to have told me anything that I didn’t already know.
This isn’t for me about the likelihood of the EU never ever giving the U.K. a good deal, it’s about holding a UK Primeminister and her party to account on what they promised they would do.

I certainly don't mind if someone on the internet doesn't think I'm smart enough, fear not.

They'll definitely be held to account, but they promised the clearly impossible, it's just a farce that they've strung everyone along for 2.5 years before admitting it. A good deal was never going to happen.

The boy Raab has now gone!....so the guy responsible for the agreement resigns the day after it's announcement.

I was hoping a Brexit vote would shake things up a little, but even the most ardent anarchist could not have imagined things getting to this stage !

There's a good chance of the Tory party itself splitting in the not so distant future.

    Brilliant news.

No Deal looks ever more likely. oregonian_winesmiley_zpsde54ad5d.gif

Just heard on R4 it makes a second referendum more likely.

Well TM said that would never happen, so I guess its a second referendum....

  • It should be this deal or this other deal. Giving the choice between this deal, an even worse deal or abandoning the whole thing is just the wrong move.

    :rotfl:

    Indeed.

Luckily, we will have all learnt our lesson from the last referendum.

Yes, folks. This one will be free from lies.

Barnier will be invited to write the Remain pamphlet...in French only.

Theresa will enlist J K Rowling to write her deal option...J K told Theresa she is pretty good with wizardry and all that.

Mr Farage has already been making the boards for the No Deal option, one for the front / one for the back - obviously.
  • I suspect even J K Rowling has written a bad first draft. I'm sure some great second career as a novelist awaits for T K May...

It's taken over 2 years to come up with this deal. How long do we need to wait for another one?

The 3 options in front of us are:
    1. Full "North Korea" WTO Brexit.
    2. Mays "Vassalage" Brexit.
    3. "That was a silly idea" no Brexit.

These were and will be the only ones that pretend to satisfy Mays red lines. Without a huge stepdown there and admitting people will get badly shafted from any other option, there's no other option to choose.

    1. will never get through parliament
    2. is falling apart as we speak

    So option 3 it is.
