Brexit the economy and house prices part 6

A bit like those drunk British tourists you see at Spanish holiday resorts. Except these aren't tourists. They are Englands upper classes, educated at the supposed elite public schools, and proud of their geneologies and links to Crown
Are you sure? Do you have any evidence to support this claim?
I get the impression that Spain is the playground for the British working class. The upper class prefer to get drunk in locations well away from the hoi-polloi on their 'all inclusive' deals.
Anyway, what's wrong in getting drunk in Spain? The sun is shining, the cervezas are cheap, the tapas are tasty. Your boss is miles away.
You are a mass of strange prejudices.:)0 -
Not as much as you think polls are still very close infact similar to before referendum.
Out of interest how did you feel when Referendum Bill was passed.
I was against a referendum....it was far too complicated an issue to give a binary decision on!0 -
Agreed the polls are close. My theory is that the tories have hoovered up the brexiteer base as UKIP has fallen away and Corbyn is poorly regarded as an alternative in huge parts of the country....this will prop them up for a while yet.

I was very surprised how many MPs voted for referendum bill but unlike them I wasn't surprised when leave won, I think they and many remainers are still in their bubble and don't realise the support for leave in country, nobody that I know who voted leave has changed their mind in fact they are more intrenched.0 -
Are you sure? They've shown a pretty clear trend towards Remain. Not by a huge %, but it's only 2ppt to get from 48.1% to 5.1%.
The UK remains more or less evenly divided on the merits of Brexit.

The most recent poll seems to show Leave ahead; ergo there is no 'clear trend towards Remain'.0 -

You're right, I missed that. This month, Leave has just nudged again for the first time in a year:
We couldn't be more divided and directionless, why is why another referendum is needed.0
