we are going to end up with something that neither side wants, we will be in, but with some rehashed total mess of a situation, a far cry from what we had before
at least then we can all be friends again, spending our Euros0 -

I stand by my quote immediately after the referendum. I think that a lot of Brexiteers will be saying "This is not what I voted for". I did suggest that I would try to get it copyrighted but that was in jest.
If any of you lot does copyright this I want my cut!0 -

Oh, people are used to not getting what they voted for, by now.
Cameron was never going to hit his migration target. Now...once Brexit occurs...and millions leave as the UK gets squeezed..it might be achieved.
Maybe it was his plan all along :cool:0 -

Has anyone asked the Citizens of the EU27, I dont think so. We all assume too much when it is said the EU27 dont want the UK to leave.
I only hope the EU 27 MEPs will be listening to their voters. There is only 10 months of campaigning left before the elections in May 2019.There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

It’s going to be interesting to see how the seismic shift toward far right/fascist politics on mainland Europe manifests itself in the new European Parliament.

Brexiteers are "nationalists" who "hate foreigners" and are not "patriots" like those campaigning for a second referendum, Lord Mandelson has said.
The former Labour Cabinet minister and European trade commissioner described leading Eurosceptics as "Brextremists".
Lord Mandelson claimed that the Eurosceptic backlash against the Prime Minister's Chequer's compromise proved the need for a second referendum.
He told LBC Radio: "Patriotism is love of your country. Wanting to stand up for your country, wanting to serve the best interests of your country.
More good news for the Leave side. Not only do we have Bliar helping us, now we have Mandy!!“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and who weren't so lazy.”0
