But the French "picking on" UK drivers is not "xenophobic"?

Do two wrongs make a right? Are we children or adults?

Maybe the solution here, for both Brits-in-Europe and Europeans-in-Britain is for us to join more or less the rest of the world and drive on the right. It'd cut out the worst of the problems, make it easer to import cars, reduce manufacturing costs, and so on. Some other country (I can't remember which one) managed to change sides without any real issues, so I'm sure it's something we could do. Great British Pluck and all that, pip pip.

It was Sweden in 1967. To make things easier, cars switched one week and then lorries switched the following week :)

The usual refusal of remainers to accept just who is xenophobic ..... no surprise there!

Who is suggesting that UK licences won't be valid (despite them being valid before joining)? the EU.

Who is suggesting flights won't be allowed from UK airlines (despite them doing so before joining)? The EU.

Lots more examples if you want 'em.
Looks to me pretty much like the EU being xenophobic towards the British.
    ;)

Aww boo hoo is the nasty EU picking on the Brexiteer snowflakes now?

It's simple, you join a club and agree to abide by the rules in return for certain benefits. You leave the club the benefits stop. Is it really so hard to understand?

Regards Project Fear, we haven't left yet and may never and all their "scare stories" usually have the word "may" or "up to" etc as caveats, so we shall see after the event.

We'll be fine, it's the easiest deal ever and we hold all the cards.

If it was considered unsafe and too costly back in the 1960s, it would be a non stater now. The costs alone would probably dwarf any loss of income the government may suffer from brexit.

It didn't make driving in Sweden any safer anyway, according to Wikipedia.

Growth is up, wages are rising, unemployment is at the lowest for 40 years . . . . . and the response?
And the response is that yes, we're not doing too bad while being part of the EU.
You keep falling for that one. ;)
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

And then the response is that you should try telling the Greeks that their situation is down to the EU. The Italians, Hungarians & even the French too.
You keep falling for that one.

    What?

More pointless analogies, this time with a spot of ridicule thrown in for good measure I see.
Then the remain camp wonder why they lost .......

Is that all the Italians, Hungarians, Greeks and French or just the ones that are disaffected with the EU and therefore you see as 'onside'?

Companys/owners/shareholders/consumers are all part of the decision process that sees production move from one country to another and other huge changes.
The other factor is events, such as borders being dismantled (see East/west Germany) Hong Kong become part of Chine again, war ending, see Vietnam.
One such event is Britain leaving the EU. The effect will be seen over the next few years. Frankly that effect IMO will NOT be to the benefit of Britain.

However 52% think it will be a great opportunity but frankly is it and if it is will Britain be able to take that opportunity.
Warning, the performance of the British Government over the last +2 years is no indicator of future performance.

I WAS MISLED AND ORIGINALLY POSTED THIS IN THE RESERECTED PART FIVE.

I have now unsubscribed from part five.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.
