CF up to his old 'teenage daughter being groomed' BS AGAIN.. he needs some new material.. claiming he has evidence and will ring the police if I don't speak to him.. he has my number, I've had the same one for 18 years.. and I don't have him blocked.. and he hasn't tried ringing so it's not that serious! I'm guessing if he has 'evidence' he should contact the police and get a potential !!!!!phile off the streets for the safety of all young women.. or maybe I'm wrong and it's ok so long as 'it's not my daughter' .. I rang the police after my own male parent had child 'videos' on his laptop and haven't had contact with him since 2005 due to it.. so why he hasn't called already I have no idea.. but anyway.. he is, a moron. If it is true the police are welcome to come speak to my girls if it will keep other girls and mine safe. Apparently the person he thinks it is, is someone he knows!!

Thought I was making progress, then looked up and saw the playroom/study/conservatory, oh dear. I want to turn this into another living area with big dining/snooker table but needs a lot of work. I did sort my desk a few weeks ago and it's still tidy and DD2 did get rid of a lot of her junk and sorted her desk and surrounding area. Maybe in September0 -
More bath-bailing again this morning, as we've still had no rain.
Might it be worth thinking about a water diverter valve to save spoons? I don't know how well any of this would work in a bungalow but I bet someone's tried it!

Pigpen Congratulations, well done you, it just shows hard work pays off. Make sure you enjoy the new clothes. Well done on getting rid of stuff too. I need to do this, I keep trying from time to time and hope that one day I will see the results but for the moment I am just chipping away at an iceberg.
You are great!0 -
Blimey LW, 17 days, I hope the dogglets don't wear you out too much.Rosie says "Woof! Thank you, LameWolf." She is going to have a sausage for lunch
No, they'll keep you going, LW - it's only after they've gone that you'll realise how much fun you've had with them and how tired you are (just like when my grandchildren visit)
We shall do the same as when they stayed at Easter - for walkies, Mr LW will have Buddy (the older and smaller of the two), and I'll have Indi.
Yes, they are quite hard work, but they are so worth it! :smileyhea
I'm pleased Rosie liked her Gotcha Cake.
Mr LW has been cleaning out the gutter over the garage. He chickened out of the bit at the front of the bungalow itself - I can see Muggins having to do that bit.
I'd hoped to get a start on making Yule cards today (plus the two now fairly urgent birthday cards for people whose birthdays are in August) but the day seems to have slithered by without me realising.
Froddy it beggars belief that your Mum "doesn't fit the criteria". Who makes up these rules??If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Haven't gone AWOL (amazing - normally have by now by this time of the week!). I haven't gone by the list but have surpassed myself by vacuuming right through (apart from Z's room but at 15 she can do that) and have given the 2 upstairs bathrooms a really good clean and bleach and they are so much better now. I've left some limescale removing Toilet Duck thingy stuff down the loos and will tell S not to use the upstairs ones till he goes to bed. I really didn't want to be bothered to do this but am so glad I did now. Done 2 loads in the WM too plus run the DW. Not a lot I know but good for me.
Pigpen well done on the weight loss and all the flingage too! Outstanding.
Froddington oh for goodness sake - how ridiculous :mad:Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Afternoon all
I've done quite a bit today but it's not been too stressful for a change which is nice. I am just about to put dinner in the oven on low (slow cooked ribs) will serve later with cauli cheese and oven chips.
Our bedding has been washed, dried, ironed and back on - I love these sunny days :j
Right best get making the cheese sauce, have lovely evenings all xxMFW
