Evening all - hugs to those in need x

Tiny had his second taster day at primary school today. He came home with his shorts on back to front and no pants... Apparently he had a little accident, and stashed the evidence.
That's going to be a nice find for the caretaker.

Kitchen gleaming :A so I thought I'd make a start on the hallway cupboard. My kitchen is now full of junk, odd screws, extension cables and DIY tools. Had to rope in our NNDN to cut down the new cupboard handles with his fancy circular saw thingy as my hacksaw didn't cut the mustard (or the screw)

Off to Bedford now...see you ladies tomorrow x

    Happy Birthday mrs-mp

Sorry to hear you're no better, Valli: GWS vibes flying your way.

Dizzy, don't let Tiny teach Flluffball that trick!

Multiple (((hugs))) to you,Froddy. I do hope you are getting support with your Mum now.

Rosie sends you lots of doggy kisses, LW, and there are posivibes from me to both you and MrLW. I'm glad you've got some canine companions to help you.

_party_Today is Rosie's Gotcha Day :happyhear
It's hard to believe that this is the same dog who came to us only a year ago as a quivering wreck, scrawny and scared. She is now totally beautiful, cheeky, a brilliant guard dog (ignores DH coming in the house but barks madly is anyone else even dares set foot in the front garden), intrepid squirrel hunter and faithful companion. I love taking her for walks and feel so much healthier for having her, and whilst DH is unable to do much on the walking side, he very much enjoys her company too.

I didn't wake up until 6.30 - that's 2 hours more sleep than I had expected :) - so now that I've drunk my cuppa I must knuckle down to work. I just want to get this essay out of the way now. DH will be taking himself off to SW this morning, so I can work uninterrupted, and it's lovely and cool atm.

Ohhhhhh, Valli. Not good. Very much a virtual hug to you.

Lots of hugs to Frodders, LW and to Natty. We are always all here for you, but so sorry that things are so tough for you all.

ATB - it's lovely to have you back posting and sounding so much more 'up', iyswim.

Yesterday was busy, and I only managed to s&s the kitchen. Must do better today. Apparently we have a load of hardcore being delivered, so I need to get my car out of the way somewhere safe. I might make a quick trip to the allotment to see how many more courgettes I am about to be challenged with, then it will be on the lists. Oh and deal with the smelly washing mountain that came back with DD.

    Catch you later. X

ETA - happy birthday Mrs MP :bdaycake:

    Morning all,

Valli Hope you're on the mend soon (but being positive it could be a boost to the slinky challenge, but don't get dehydrated)

Up, not bright and early as OH got up at 4.00 to go away and I fell back to sleep but woke several times and as a result am now struggling to get going. Just having a quick coffee. It rained for a few minutes this morning so that has cleared the air and dropped the temperatures so hopefully should be bearable today.

Working 10.30 - 12.00 so will do ironing and paperwork this morning before I go out as they are clean jobs, then cleaning will resume this afternoon. I did WU last night straight after dinner and plumped up cushions on my way up to bed so main downstairs area looked quite WOW when I came down. Good slinky day yesterday and have caught up and got ahead after the weekend. On my own for all meals today so will be another easy slinky day, Greek salad for lunch and tomato salad & left over sausages for dinner. Still not menu planned and done shopping yet, visitors arriving Wednesday evening, lets hope it's bbq & salad weather that's easy.

Off to shower, see you later

    Happy birthday MrsMP
More hugs for Natty, LW, Froddington , Valli.
Just basic flying really by me the last few days as I just don't do heat; slumping around on the sofa won't help the slinky cause although I did get to 4 gym classes last week. Spent a lot of time doing tax return which has the side benefit of organising paperork in the study anddeleting old mails.

Off to Buxton today till Fri, got 2 visits to friends lined up as well as the flower show.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Happy Birthday Mrs MP, get well soon Valli, Dizzy that made me laugh!

School run done, our DS has his reception transition week, bless him. Aldi done, M&S visited, more money paid off credit card :j, money repaid to MiL that we had to borrow the other week :o, basically a bit of time spent getting straight. I need to tidy the paddling pool away, S&S the kitchen then start sorting yet more paperwork in preparation for DH coming out of the business :D

School done, allotment harvested - first runners picked. First smelly load in the WM, and I will now go and tip out the depths of the smelly rucksuck to see what lurks. Another load for sure. The sleeping bag is airing on the line before it gets a wash. Yes it was all that bad. But she did it, so I am proud of my girl.

I have also found a taker for a fishing net that has been taking up shed space. Something else to leave the premises.
